The 2nd Emirates Digestive Diseases Week Conference (EDDW) will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 2nd- 4th March, 2017. The event is organized by the Emirates Digestive Diseases Group (EDDG) of the College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University.

the first conference took place in December 2015, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, and it met an enormous success. The conference witnessed the announcement of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Award for Research Excellence in Digestive Diseases, the first of its kind in the Arab World. It reflects Her Highness’ generous support of education and medical research efforts in the field of gastroenterology.

This year’s scientific program of the 2nd Emirates Digestive Diseases Week Conference is equally rich and exciting. A panel of distinguished international, regional and local speakers have been recruited to deliver cutting-edge interactive presentations on advances in research and clinical practice in gastroenterology, hepatology, clinical nutrition and therapeutic endoscopy with state-of-the-art lectures, forums and workshops. In addition, the conference will feature live endoscopy sessions, as well as hepatology dedicated program.
