An increasing number of would be brides and bridegrooms are queueing up before cosmetic surgeons ahead of their 'D-Day', with some asking for a perfect nose while others seeking fat reduction.

While people seeking liposuction, nose jobs or breast implants are a regular feature at cosmetic clinics, their number often goes up ahead of the wedding season, surgeons say.

Dr Anup Dhir, a cosmetic surgeon at the Apollo clinic in Delhi, says the trend has really grown in the last decade.

"Earlier people, mostly young girls, used to come for treatment that was absolutely necessary, like in the case if they had specific skin issues like scars.
