Tummy Tuck (aka Abdominoplasty) procedures have been on the rise over the last 10 years, amounting to an 84 percent increase since 2000, and has been in the top five plastic surgeries since 2005 according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Dr. Hugh McLean says the trend holds true for Toronto and the GTA, particularly at the McLean Clinic in Mississauga where the procedure has seen an even sharper rise in popularity.

"Tummy tucks have become the number one surgical procedure in my clinic and we are seeing more men and women electing to go under the knife every year to get rid of their muffin top for good," says McLean who has been in practice for over 30 years.
