New Clinical Trials for Parkinson's Patients in Mexico

Integra Medical Center, a long-term partner of PlacidWay, a medical provider and information resource on medical technologies, accredited healthcare facilities and surgeons around the world, announces its intention to begin placenta-based stem cell clinical trials for Parkinson's disease in March 2011.
Dr. Omar Gonzalez of Integra Medical Center, located in Nuevo Progresso and Tamps, Mexico, announces upcoming a placenta stem cell clinical trial for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Dr. Gonzalez and Integra Medical center seek patients diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease who have not received deep brain stimulator therapy or previous stem cell therapies for five years. Individuals will be required to send clinical data on a monthly basis and should be able to travel.
Parkinson's disease is a disorder of the motor system, affecting muscle movement. Common symptoms of Parkinson's disease include trembling of the hands, tremors, stiffness of the limbs and torso, and slow, stiff movements.
