inSer -HumanIVF and Fertility Center - founded in 1995 as a center devoted exclusively to our mission - is an interdisciplinary group of professionals specialized in the area of Human Reproduction in renowned educational centers in Europe and the United States. This training is consolidated with over 17 years of clinical experience and research work.

In 1997inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center.  earned top research award at the III Meeting of the Colombian Infertility Society. In 1999 our center earned top research award at the Latin American Federation of Fertility and Sterility Societies Meeting, [Federación Latinamericana de Sociedades de Esterilidad y Fertilidad – FLASEF] in Panama.

We celebrated the birth of ourfirst 1,000 babiesin 2003.

We started a Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis program as well as we earned the top Clinical Research award at the 6th National and the 3rd International Meeting of the Colombian Fertility and Sterility Association.

In 2004inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center. createsthe first umbilical cord blood stem cell bank in Colombia.Since then our center is growing continuously. We opened our secondHuman IVF Center in Pereira in 2005 and then in 2011 the fourth one in Bogotá.

In 2012 inSer-HumanIVF and Fertility Center, receives international accreditation by the entity AAAASFI [American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities], and implement the reproduction treatment called IMSI [Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection].

1989The first test tube babies are born in our city, thanks to the pioneer work of one of our founders.

1995inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center is founded as a center devoted exclusively to human reproduction.

1996 First pregnancy produced by Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection [ICSI] for the treatment of severe masculine infertility.  First baby produced by ICSI and testicular biopsy in a man with no sperm ejaculation is born in Colombia.

1997inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center earns top research award at the III Meeting of the Colombian Infertility Society.

1998First pregnancy through extended culture and blastocyst transfer.

1999 inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center earns top research award at the Latin American Federation of Fertility and Sterility Societies Meeting, [Federación Latinamericana de Sociedades de Esterilidad y  Fertilidad – FLASEF] in Panama.

2001inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center in association with CES University [Health Sciences Institute] founds the first postgraduate program in Human Reproduction in Colombia endorsed by the Colombian Institute for Fostering Higher Education  [Instituto Colombiano para el Fomento de la Educación Superior –  ICFES].

2003inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center celebrates the birth of its first 1.000 babies. InSer starts a Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis program. inSer earns the top Clinical Research award at the 6th National  and the 3rd International Meeting of the Colombian Fertility and Sterility Association.

2004inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Center creates the first umbilical cord blood stem cell bank in Colombia.

2005inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Centeropens a second Human IVF Center in Pereira – Colombia, to attend Eje Cafertero and Norte del Valle.

2010sponsors III International Symposium of Endometriosis and Fertility. On December opens a Human IVF Center in Bogota –  Colombia.           

2011  inSer – Human IVF and Fertility Centerreceives the Orden al Merito Juan del Corral, by the Council of Medellin, who gives to the companies that offer excellent services and demonstrate a good track record.
