Our Treatment & Procedures

Aesthetic // Body

Abdominoplasty

Tummy Tuck is a surgery that is performed through an horizontal incision in the abdomen, and it’s recommended when a relaxation of muscles and skin of the abdomen occurs it’s necessary to remove all excess of skin and fat, and tight the muscles of the abdominal wall.

The stay in the hospital is of 2 or 3 days in hospital, and the stitches are removed 15 days after surgery. Results are permanent, but dieting and exercise is necessary after the surgery.

Brachionoplasty

Brachionoplasty is a surgery in that the floppy fat and skin from arms is taken away giving the arms a more aesthetic look. It’s recommended for people who have lost a considerable amount of weight.

Liposuction in the area is also used to complement the surgery and achieve the best result. You don’t have to worry about scars, as we’ll keep them hidden inside the armpit area.

The patient will be back at work in 2-3 days. The results are permanent and working out might be necessary.

Liposuction

During Liposuction the excess of fat from different body areas (abdomen, the hip, buttocks, thigh, knee, neck and other ones) is removed.

Liposuction is a complete surgery that gives you the possibility of eliminating fat in areas that do not respond to other weight-loss methods.

An incision 2-3 mm is made in the region through entering suction device, once done the patient will have to wear a special garment for 4-6 weeks. You can go back to work in 1 week, and the results are permanent if complemented with diet and exercise.

Aesthetic // Breast

Gynecomastia

During Gynecomastia the overgrowth of the breast in adolescent or adult males, is removed through semi-circular incision around the nipple. This can be done complementarily with liposuction.

The condition does not occur by excess fat only, it also can be hypertrophy of the male gland mass alone, or sometimes both forms.

Some secondary effects may occur after the surgery such as pain, breast tenderness but the results standing are permanent.

Breast Augmentation

In Breast Augmentation Surgery placing a silicone implant in the breast area increasing the size of the breast, providing a more aesthetic look.

This surgery is for patients with different conditions, such as with very small chest or that have a remarkable difference in size between the two breasts.

The patient wears for the post-operative time a special bra for about 1 month. And will go back to work in a few days; the results are usually permanent.

Breast Lift

When a loss of the elasticity in the breast has occurred, Breast Lift is highly recommended giving as a result a more young-looking breast.

Even when the incisions during breast lift are limited to the areola area, they can be extended vertical down if necessary. These scars will disappear with the time in most cases, but some of them will be permanently visible.

The patient will be back to work in 1 week. The results will vary in every patient by gravity, pregnancy, the passage of time and weight changes.

Reduction Mammoplasty

This is a procedure in that part of the gland mass, fat and skin, are removed and it is done to provide a relieve when a very large breast is causing various problems to a female patient, such as back and neck pain, skin irritation or most difficult situations like breathing problems.

The result are smaller and lighter breasts.

There is a variety of techniques for breast reduction, the scars of the incisions will mature and disappear after some time, in some cases will be more or less visible. For about a month the patient wears a special corset, but patient can go back to work in a few days and the results are permanent.

Aesthetic // Face

Eyelid Surgery

In this procedure we remove excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids, called “bags” which will give the face a fresh look and appearance.

Stitches will be removed in 5 days.

A temporary tearing and dryness of the eyes is normal after surgery. You’ll be reading in 2 or 3 days and will be back to work in 7 to 10 days. The results are  usually permanent.

Facelift

Face-lift is a procedure that intends to stop the passage of time, skin relaxation and fine/ deeper wrinkles. After the incision is made the skin and underlying tissues are relocated, and the relaxation is corrected, this procedure is usually combined with other corrective surgeries.

The stitches are gradually removed from the 5th to the 14th day. The patient may return to work in 10 to 14 days. The results will last for 5 to 10 years.

Otoplasty

During Otoplasty a modification of the prominent ears is performed; through small incisions, at the back of the ears, the ear cartilage is corrected. This procedure can be performed in anyone whose age is over 5 years old.

The stitches will be removed in 1 week. The results are instantaneously noticeable; the patient will go back to work or school in 5 to7 days. And the results are permanent.

Rhinoplasty

During Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, an aesthetically and functionally beautiful nose shape is achieved; this surgery can be performed in both, men & women.

The small incisions are made inside the nose and in the area between the upper lip and the tip of the nose giving the nose it’s new natural cosmetic result.

The patient has to wear a nose splint for about 8-10 days post-op and will be back to work in 1 week, it’s very important to avoid sports for about 6 to 8 weeks.

 

Non Aesthetic // Skin

Botox

This is a procedure is intended to create a temporary weakening of muscles in the face, eliminating visibly the wrinkle or wrinkles of the facial expression by blocking the action of nerve impulses to muscles in which the injection is made.

The Botox’s effect starts after 4 or 5 days and the results last from 4 to 6 months. The advantage of Botox is that the results are visible very fast anf patient can return his regular activities immediately.

Fillers

During Fillers a temporary correction of wrinkles in the patient’s face, lips takes place.

There is no recovery time, all patients can be back to work and regular activities the same day, but repeating the treatment will be necessary as the substance is fully absorbed by the body after 6 months to 2 years.

Laser Surgery & Treatments

Laser Depilation is commonly used to reduce permanently the hair in different body areas such calves, bikini and armpit as well as tights, arms and face that are the areas with better results with less sessions.

By selective photothermolysis a damage of the hair follicle with minimal damage of the rest of the skin tissue is achieved, and this is the reason this treatment has to be performed by experts. The procedure can last a few minutes to few hours.

With Laser, different treatments can be achieved to change different skin conditions, such as:

Peelings

The peeling is applied when a improving of a lesion of the color and texture of the skin is necessary; when peeling is performed, new skin will replace the more superficial layers. This is also used to smooth wrinkles and change the after acne scars.

The different types of peeling are: chemical, mechanical or laser peeling the treatment may last from hours to weeks depending of the condition, but the result will be a more youthful appearance. The recovery time goes from hours to 7 days.

Dr. Grigoris Georgiadis

Dr. Grigoris Georgiadis studied in the Medical faculty of Aristotelian University of Thessalonica and trained in Greece and abroad:

• Two years in General Medicine,
• Four years in Plastic Surgery,

Dr. Georgiadis made his a residency in General Surgery in 403 Military Hospital of Kozani, Greece, and in Bromley Hospital, London, U.K.

Dr. Anestis Isaakidis

Dr. Anestis Isaakidis, graduated from the Medical Faculty of Aristotelian University Thessalonica, specialized in General Surgery, during 2 years at the General Regional Hospital of Kilkis.

He has specialized in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery in the U.K. for 2 years, in one of the biggest worldwide centers, in Canniesburn Hospital of Glasgow, with a scholarship.

During this time Dr. Isaakidis trained in depth breast reconstruction and head and neck Surgery.  He also holds a Master Degree in Science, in the University of Glasgow.

Dr. Isaakidis continued his residency in the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burn Unit of Papanikolaou Hospital in Greece by over 2 years. He has specialized in Dallas, Texas, USA, in Rhinoplasty and in FaceLift.

Dr. Isaakidis is an official member of different important Plastic Surgery societies such as: the Greek Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
