LV Signature FemtoLASIK (All Bladeless LASIK)
A new alternative of refractive surgery “LV Signature FemtoLASIK”. This procedure corrects your vision using a laser from beginning till the end of the surgery. The corneal flap is created by an innovative instrument called “Femtosecond Laser”, which has extremely high frequency and low energy pulses, making the surgery to be completely independent from scalpel. No pain and less discomfort, resulting in the high quality of refractive surgery.

Standard LASIK
LASIK is a treatment of all types of refractive error problems including nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. It is scientifically acclaimed procedure whereby the curvature of your cornea is adjusted by excimer laser. At Laser vision, we employ three different lasers for laser eye surgery which are LV Premiere LASIK, LV Optimized LASIK, and LV Platinum LASIK. Which one we select for your LASIK procedure will depend on the individual needs of your eyes

PRK
PRK is very similar to LASIK, but the keratectomy by Microkeratome is unnecessary. The surgeon will gently remove the outer layer of cells (skin) from the surface of your cornea before treating your eye with the laser. It is a more desirable method for patients with a thin cornea.

NV LASIK
NV LASIK is a technique of creating blended vision which can help you maintain reading vision in one eye to avoid total dependence on reading glasses. Blended vision is a slight compromise of both distance and near vision.

Phakic IOL
Phakic IOL procedure are being used on severely nearsighted and farsighted patients or thin corneal patients who may not be candidates for the more common laser procedure such as PRK, and LASIK. The Phakic IOL procedure is safe and very quick, typically taking less than 20 minutes.

Phacoemulsification
Phacoemulsification is an advanced and painless method of cataract removal. During the surgery, a tiny ultrasonic probe breaks up the cataract and draws it away. Because the incision required is only about an eight of an inch, this technique is often called small-incision surgery. It encourages rapid healing, less astigmatism, and a fast return to full activity.

Dr. Anun Vongthongsri

Medical Director

Dr. Vongthongsri is the founder and Medical Director of Laser Vision.

He was the first Thai and South East Asia Ophthalmologist to be elected for clinical fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Washington University Eye Center, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

During his fellowship he was involved in many clinical studies regarding PRK and Lasik Surgery using Excimer Laser.

Dr. Vongthongsri, as the first Thai Doctor being certified in Refractive Surgery is recognized as the leader in refractive surgery field. He has experience in performing thousands of refractive surgery procedures including Lasik and Surface Laser Surgery.

In addition, he is the Director of fellowship programs for Cornea and Refractive Surgery and has extensive experience in training many Thai Ophthalmologists to be experts in refractive surgery .
