About Stand Up Urology

From the very beginning, the sole focus of Stand Up Urology has been penile implant surgery (IPP Surgery), which led to our center’s dense and voluminous experience.

To us, IPP surgery is just as much a cosmetic surgery as it is a corrective surgery. This makes it less of a technique, and more of an art form.

Our ultimate goal is patient safety and satisfaction, and to achieve this our center runs on three core principles:

About Dr. Park

Dr. Park is a Korean board certified urologist whose practice is limited to prosthetic urology.

From 2009 - 2012, Dr. Park dedicated himself to three years of augmentation phalloplasty and completed over 1,500 cases. In 2012, Dr. Park stepped down from his position as chief surgeon of urology at Yezak Urology Group to begin his self-appointed urology fellowship with the world leaders of prosthetic urology.

While training in the United States, Dr. Park met Steven Karl Wilson, MD, FACS, FRCS, a surgeon widely regarded as the godfather of prosthetic urology. Under the guidance of Dr. Wilson, Dr. Park completed his unique global prosthetic urology fellowship shadowing high volume implanter’s practices.

After his fellowship, Dr. Park opened Stand Up Prosthetic Urology, following Dr. Wilson’s Center of Excellence concept.

To date, Dr. Park is now among the world’s highest volume implanters, completing hundreds of implants every year, thus making him first in Asia, and fifth worldwide. As such, he is frequently invited to international conferences to present his penile implant surgery research, which helps him learn other leaders’ thoughts.

Through Stand Up Urology, Dr. Park also runs a physician training program, as he believes that at a certain point the only way to increase your mastery of a surgery is through the teaching process.

Being a doctor means life-long learning to Dr. Park, who feels that that’s the only way to serve his patients right.

• Penile Girth Enhancement

Our center currently offers three options for penile girth enhancement: girth enhancement with filler, girth enhancement with bovine feta dermal matrix, and penile deep fascia repositioning for girth enhancement. • Penile Lengthening (Suspensory Ligament Release) 

Penile lengthening surgery is available for men who wish to improve the appearance of their flaccid penis or help correct a "buried" penis. When discussing penile lengthening surgery, it is important to help patients manage their expectations. Suspensory ligament release does not improve the length of the erect penis, only its flaccid state. In that regard, suspensory ligament release penile lengthening surgery is essentially a cosmetic surgery.
