Wong is a Consultant Physician & Cardiologist and he was trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology in Hammersmith Hospital (University of London, UK), Registrar in Medicine at South Cleveland Hospital (UK), Registrar in Cardiology at University Medical Centre, Postgraduate in Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Centre (USA) and Postgraduate in Paediatric Cardiology at Allgemeines Krankenhaus Hospital (University of Vienna, Austria) from 1994 to 1998.
