What is Placenta Cell Therapy?

What is Placenta Cell Therapy - Integra Medical Center in Mexico

Placenta Cell Therapy is a type of adult cell therapy that utilizes the placenta, or afterbirth of a woman who has undergone the child birthing process. This method has been researched for over two decades, but only recently have researchers and scientists understood the impact that placenta cell therapy and treatment has on a multitude of auto-immune and chronic illness conditions and symptoms.

Placenta Cell Therapy does not harm the fetus, the infant or the mother. Placenta cells are gathered from the placenta following a rigorous methodology and protocol according to international normative.

What is This Theraphy for?

According to our medical experience since 1991, this therapy is very effective for the following conditions:

AUTO - IMMUNE SYSTEM CONDITIONS, such as: Rheumatoid arthritis, Generalized or Discoid Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Auto-immune Hepatitis, Dermato-myositis, Psoriasis.

CHRONIC INFECTIONS, such as: Aids, Hepatitis C, Lyme disease and Tuberculosis.

CIRCULATION like: Arteriosclerosis, High Blood Pressure, Poor vein circulation.
Tinnitus, Chronic dizziness. Kidney insufficiency, peripheral neuropathy; Migraine/tension headaches.

DEGENERATIVE DISEASES, for example: Arthritis; Osteoarthritis, Diabetes type II ( No-insulin dependent ). Atherosclerosis, Hypertension (high blood pressure), Kidney and Heart insufficiency, Liver Conditions, Emphysema (COPD) ; Pulmonary Fibrosis, Sarcoidosis

GENETIC CONDITIONS, such as: Retinitis pigmentosa; Usher syndrome, Lever's
Muscular dystrophy in all its forms.

NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS, such: Autism, Senile dementia and Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, Stroke & Anoxic brain damage, Cerebral palsy, Epilepsy, Peripheral neuropathy, Migraine/tension headaches, Spine and brain injuries.

The body's response to the IMC cell therapy and the healing power comes from:

  • The tissue full of cell therapys, (ten times more cell therapys than the ones contained in umbilical cord blood) is absorbed by the blood and lymphatic capillary systems and migrates locally and systemically to the main organs (brain, heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, etc.) where the cell therapys regenerate and revitalize the basic functions of these organs.
  • Growth Factors like: HGH (anti-aging effect)
    Endothelial Growth Factor (Circulation)
Neuron Growth Factor (Brain and Neuron)
    Hepatocyte Growth Factor (Liver function).
  • Immune- modulating proteins like TNF, ILs are slowly absorbed and biologically integrated to the body systems, promoting internal anti-inflammation, regeneration, revitalization, anti-tumor and antiviral activity.

Depending of the case, but most of the time after the implantation procedure is finished, several injections of a cell preparation are made. The liquid cell preparation is designed to access specific areas with the mentioned biological power.

Low Level Laser therapy is then applied to activate the cell therapys, promote healing and tissue repair of the implanted and injected areas.

A final evaluation of the patient is made, where we make sure the patient is ready to go back to the place where they are staying overnight.

The patients usually go home on the day following the implantation procedure, with some discomfort but with lots of hope for a better and healthier future.

The science of TCM is the study of the human pathology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disease. The TCM made great progress in the Han Dynasty (206 B.C. to 220 A.C.) after that It had ups and downs until Peoples Republic of China was founded and an integration of both medicines (western and eastern) began.

How Does Traveling to Integra Medical Center Work?

Once you have received a confirmation via e-mail or phone of the time and date of your scheduled appointment at Integra Medical Center (IMC) with Dr. Omar Gonzalez, it will be important to make the necessary travel arrangements in preparation for the procedure. We will make every effort to ensure your trip to the Center is easy, pleasant and the treatment comfortable while achieving maximum results.

Traveling to Mexico - Integra Medical Center

Patient History Form
The Patient History form can be filled online at www.placidway.com. If you prefer it, we can send it to you by e-mail so you can save it for your records and then send it back to us.

Airport and Travel
There are two possible airports (McAllen International is the best) that are convenient in which to fly and both are less than 30 minutes from the USA-Mexico international border. Our patients prefer to fly into McAllen International Airport and we encourage you to also use this facility. Once you have a confirmed flight reservation, email the flight itinerary to Dr. Omar Gonzalez so that we are informed of your travel schedule.

Transportation
We are providing the ground transportation from airport to your place to stay (La Sirena B&B); from there to our office in Mexico (a few feet from the Progreso International bridge) and back to La Sirena and also back to the airport. Additional transportation is not included.

Accommodations
if needed, we provide a very friendly Mexican/American environment. A bed and breakfast in Donna, TX which is between McAllen and Weslaco is La Sirena Hacienda.

If you are interested in shopping and other activities the best location to be is McAllen, TX. For sun and Beach area you can visit South Padre Island, TX located about 1hr from Weslaco.

Border Crossing
We expect you will find your Mexican neighbors to be very friendly and polite. A number of physicians' offices and businesses are supported by US citizens, so our friends to the south are accustomed and hospitable to those crossing the border to shop, dine or visit doctors. Our patients feel safe when traveling to this area of Mexico; however, take the normal travel precautions just as you would in state side travel. Your passport will be required to cross the border back to the USA. Let us know of any other questions you may have.

Allergies
Inform us of ANY allergies to medication you have in advance. The doctor will be injecting a numbing agent like Lidocaine plus epinephrine in the areas where you will be receiving implants or injections and might prescribe a prophylactic antibiotic (prevent infections) to be filled at a nearby Mexican pharmacy prior to your trip departure from Mexico. So if you are allergic to anything like this please, inform us ahead of time.

Procedure Fee & Payment
Integra Medical Center only accepts Bank Cashier's Checks, money transfer and of course, cash. Make out the acceptable form of check to Omar Gonzalez MD in the appropriate amount. A 3% international processing fee is added to any procedure fee charged on a Visa or MasterCard. The current fee for the Placenta/cell therapy Therapy (PST) varies according to the protocol used.

If you don't want to carry money or checks with you, you can mail it to 1308 S Dogwood St. in Pharr, TX 78577. More and more patients like the idea of wiring the money to an account in USA and we advise it since you avoid the troubles related to bringing money with you.

Integra Medical Center will provide you with a receipt for the cost of the medical procedure. You may consider consulting with your CPA regarding the possible tax deductibility of all travel, accommodation and medical related expenses. Dr Omar Gonzalez gives every patient a personal attention delivering the most adequate to your particular case medical procedure.. We look forward to a future report of wonderful results from your treatment.

Additional Information Needed Before and After Procedures - line 2

Additional Information Needed Before and After Procedures

What is Placenta Cell Therapy - Integra Medical Center in Mexico

  • It is wise to dress comfortably the day of the procedure and a few days after it.
  • Inform Dr. Gonzalez if you have a contagious disease or if you have a blood disorder including the use of Coumadin and related medications.
  • Have a light meal before the procedure and avoid extreme exercise for a week.
  • If you are in a weight lifting; swimming; Pilates; aerobics or physical therapy program it is recommended to wait for at least two weeks for you to start or resume your routine.
  • You can expect some swelling, bruising, discomfort and sometimes some aseptic discharge in the area of the implants. That should diminish substantially in 7days.
  • Keep the same bandages on the implants while they are dry in the inside for as long as possible (a week to 10 days). You can take showers but avoid swimming and bathtub use while the stitches are on.
  • Non dissolvable stitches have to be removed according to Dr Omar's instructions, but normally it is about one week to 10 days after the procedure. Sometimes he uses dissolvable stitches where you don’t have to remove them and they fall after some time usually more than two weeks.
  • The cell therapys, growth factors and cytoquines are going to be reabsorbed gradually, so you are going to feel a lump under the skin of each implant that will be decreasing in size gradually within 3 or 4 months. The implant's site might be difficult to detect a few months after since the scar tissue is minimal.
  • If you find you need to, you can call our office in the afternoon of the second day, and before you remove the stitches for any support and to monitor wound healing.
  • Please keep a log of the way you are feeling right after the first day of the treatment. We tend to forget the way we were before and after the procedure. It is important for your own personal feedback and for the Center’s follow up information.

Be aware that you because of the positive effects of the treatment you just received, you might need to alter the doses of the medication you are currently taking, for example: insulin and other diabetics medications; blood pressure medication; tranquilizers; pain killers etc. So if you are experiencing some medication related adverse effects like hypoglycemia; low blood pressure etc. Let us or let your personal physician know so that an adjustment is done.

Recommended Diet - Integra Medical Center - line 2

Recommended Diet

Recommended Diet - Placenta Cell Therapy in Mexico

Dr. Gonzalez recommends a healthy, organic, balanced diet before and after the treatment, specially:

  • Low trans-fatty acids (TFA)diet.
  • Low simple sugars (anything that tastes sweet) so most of the carbos's should come from starches and whole grains.
  • 1.5 grams of proteins per kilo a day (two to three ounces of protein a day)from meat, fish or grains (lentils, beans etc.).
  • Eat slowly, 4 to 5 times a day a high fiber diet.
  • Drink natural juices specially Acai and berries, also Resveratrol rich juices.
  • Nutritional advice to help reduce TFA intakes
  • TFA-free diets are difficult to develop and maintain, as they may lead to undesirable effects such aSsmicronutrient deficiencies from removing foods such as some meats and dairy products from the diet.

Nutritionists, dietitians and health professionals recommend that consumers should reduce their TFA intake, while consuming a nutritionally adequate diet. What can consumers do? Some suggestions include:

  • Use TFA-free margarine spreads, not butter
  • Use low / reduced / modified fat milk, cheese, ice cream
  • Have fish at least twice/week (but if pregnant, especially not predatory fish)
  • Have meals based on vegetables, grains
  • Limit take-away foods to less than once per week
  • Limit snack foods, cakes, pastries, cholesterol-rich foods (egg yolks, offal).

Consumer education campaigns and food labels will be important tools to provide consumers with factual information on current levels of TFAs in foods, and how they can reduce their intake of TFAs.

Laura Pino -  Multiple Sclerosis

"I had the procedure Tuesday, December 6 2011. Immediately there were positive results, I was able to rotate my right ankle (where I hadn’t been able to before). For the first couple days my bladder had worse issues than before, not emptying well. These resolved back to what I was used to in a few days. The next day after the procedure, I had a headache with slight double vision, an MS symptom I had heard of but never had. But then I started to notice that my face, formerly very stiff on the right side, was starting to loosen up. And my hand, which had been very stiff, was loosening. And my walking was a lot better. And I hadn’t had air hunger since the procedure. I could lift my leg higher, and my foot didn’t drop so much. I had commonly choked quite a bit on liquids, it was much better. I was still getting 6 hours of sleep, but I was encouraged. In the first week I had a headache 3 days out of seven, with attendant issues in balance, heavy body, trouble moving with core muscles. But on the other days I could see improvement. It has now been 9 days. No more headaches, I think that was just the new cells settling in. I have many improvements. ·
Better balance, I can stand up without holding onto anything.
Even walk by myself without holding on to my husband or a cane for a short distance.
Raise my leg enough to get in the truck without moving it with my hands.
My circulation seems to be improving, since my foot and leg aren’t getting so cold and discolored.
I walk better, without as much of a limp.
It’s easier to move in general.
No air hunger, or any kind of trouble breathing.
The color in my face is better, so much that friends have remarked on it (that’s how I know).
I am not in bed all the time but am up and about
I got 7 ½ unbroken hours of sleep last night I am excited to see what the future will bring.

"I`m 51 years old. When I was 32 years (1988)old I was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome (Glomerulonephrytis Proliferating Type II with a Kidney biopsy). I was loosing a lot of protein in the urine. up to 7,000 mgs of protein in a 24 hrs collection. I was very sick with edema all over my body including my lungs. I took steroid  for years like 100 mgs a day. I suppose to be in dialysis and-or Kidney transplant in 4 or 5 more years and my nephrologist bet that that was happening whether I wanted or not.and whether I would do any therapy or not.

Since  Dr. Omar Gonzalez was a friend of mine, he suggested for me to start with Term Placenta Therapy in 1992. I started to improve gradually, my urine protein started to decline. My doctors in Houston told me to keep doing what I was doing because I was being controlled with just 5 or 10 mgs a day  for years. two years ago I stopped it totally.  My doctors are amazed that my blood tests show that my kidney function  is normal. My protein in urine is  85 mgs in 24 hrs ( normal range up to 150 mgs). I`m so thankful that I decided to do this technique and to my friend Dr. Gonzalez. I can consider my self cured or at least in total remission. No steroids, normal urine protein, no edema, with my own kidneys that work perfectly. I know it is hard to believe but that is what happened."

Wallena R. Haynes

"I have always been a fast paced individual with a varied background in management positions.  At the age of 35 I began having seizures.  I was referred to several facilities and was examined by numerous physicians and have spent many thousands of dollars trying to find a cause, none has ever been found.  In 1991 I had a stroke that left me quite limited in my mobility and very limited in my speech pattern. I was in this stage for approximately one and half years. I had to leave my position as Manager of a senior retirement resort, a job that I had held for four years.

In 1993 my husband who had sever arthritis and was in extremely poor health, was referred to Dr. Omar Gonzalez for treatment with needles (acupuncture). After  a few treatments for my husband,  Dr. Gonzalez  became interested in my condition and asked to do a Placenta implant to see if  he could improve my condition.  I received my first implant and with-in a few days I was amazed at the improvement in my kidney function, my energy level soared, my speech pattern returned to normal with-in three weeks and with-in five weeks I had full mobility of my limbs.  With-in 6 weeks I went back to work full time at my old job, Manager of the senior resort where we reside.  I was later promoted to Regional Manager and had the responsibility of six Retirement resorts, which required me to be available seven days a week on call twenty four hours a day.

I am seizure free, and was able to reduce my medicine intake in half.  I receive a placenta implant every six to seven months and have acupuncture apx. twice a month for over all health. I am thankful to God for placing Dr. Gonzalez in my life, between the two I have the quality of life that I was meant to have. "

Buddy Haynes

"I had been treated for severe arthritis, prostrate and poor health for several years.  I was always given strong medication which either gave me little relief and kept my stomach upset.  I was also so tired and lifeless that I could only work for a couple of hours and have to rest and the pain was also a great handicap.  Patients of Dr. Gonzalez referred me to him to see if I could be helped.  I was treated with acupuncture for the arthritis and after three treatment I was able to lift my arms over my head which in its self was a miracle, I had not been able to lift my arm without severe pain in quite a long time.

My skin color was gray and pasty and I had problems with my kidneys.  Dr. Gonzalez counseled with me about the placenta implant procedure, he was confident that it would a very positive effect on my condition.  At this point in my life I had given up on any hope of a miracle that would improve my health and had resigned myself to being and old man in a rocking chair awaiting my expiration.

The day I had my first implant Dr. Gonzalez could have cut my throat and I could have cared less, he asked me if I was practicing relaxation because of my total relaxed attitude.  In less than ten days my kidneys were functioning like my younger days. The gray color disappeared and in its place I once again my skin color was pink and rosy from the improved circulation.   With-in a few weeks my sense of well being returned  to the point my self confident returned and I was able to continue with my earlier activities such as; riding motorcycles, and flight instruction.  The improved texture of my skin hides the fact that I am a very active seventy five year young man.

Needless to say I continue to receive my placenta  implants on a regular basis to maintain the optimum health benefits that are received from this procedure.  The placenta implant actually saved my life and I have recommended this to all of my friends and all that I meet that are in less than desirable health."
