What is Fat Transfer?

How is the operation performed?
The fat tissue is obtained using a thin cannula through a small incision of 0.5cm. The fat tissue is then processed and transferred to the desired area. No skin cuts are necessary, therefore there is no risk of scar tissue development and the recovery will be very fast. The patient will be able to resume the daily tasks immediately after the fat transfer.
Fat can be transferred to face, lips, breasts, hands, cheeks, genital area, buttocks and upper or lower legs. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and it takes between 1.5- 2 hours.
