Dr. Jose M. Delgado is an experienced cardiologist and internist based in Mexicali, Mexico at Family Hospital. Dr. Delgado attended the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and graduated as a surgeon. He has since become specialized in Internal Medicine and Cardiology while also obtaining a subspecialty in Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Delgado holds a PhD in medical sciences, and has also served as the head of Cardiology residents at the Occidental Medical Center, Social Security Mexican Institute, Guadalajara, and Jalisco, Mexico. In addition, he is a professor of Cardiology and internal medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Autonoma of Baja California where he has been teaching since 1990.
Since 1987, Dr. Delgado has been assigned to the Cardiology service at the General Hospital No. 30 Social Security Mexican Institute, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. He has also served as a cardiologist assigned to the “5 de Diciembre” General Hospital of ISSSTE, Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and most recently in 2004 as clinical and interventional cardiologist at the “Hospital de la Familia” in Mexicali.
Dr. Jose Delgado is an active member of several Mexican scientific societies including the Mexican Board of Cardiology, National Cardiology Association of Mexico and the Cardiology Society of Baja California.
