Cuba Medical Tourism Conference

Cuba medical tourism

Over the past years, the medical tourism industry in Cuba has been rapidly developing. The country is already renowned for various medical treatments and procedures, among which eye surgery, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, heart surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery and many more.

The excellent training of the physicians and the affordable prices are two of the most significant contributing factors to the growth of the economy through medical tourism. Medical services in Cuba are with 60% cheaper compared to North American countries, without compromising the efficacy and quality of the treatments involved.

The doctor-patient ration in Cuba is 1 doctor for every 170 people, the second highest rate in the world, after Italy. Medical tourism in Cuba has a lot of potential and the quality and organization of the healthcare system and infrastructure in the country is the key strength for the further development of this industry.

Doctors, facilitators and others interested in the International healthcare and Developing Professional Medical Relationships in Cuba are invited to participate to the IBMS Dialogue.
