• Medical Second Opinion Inquıry & Appointments

Submit your personal information and medical records on our Medical Second Opinion  webpage. We will consult our physicians and revert to you with a suitable

treatment plan, cost estimations and duration of stay in Istanbul. A CIP representative will be in touch with you within 24 hours of your initial inquiry. 

Alternatively, you can also directly request an appointment with our physicians via mail.

Your medical appointments will be scheduled according to your confirmations. 

• Medical Treatment

All medical treatments are performed at our state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technology and equipment, by our internationally-trained surgeons, doctors, nurses and medical experts.

You will receive a complete medical file once your treatment is finished as well as be informed of necessary follow up requirements. Medical reports will be provided in English.

• Accomodation & Airport Transfer

A CIP representative can assist you with accommodation reservations at preferential corporate rates at nearby hotels or short-term stay apartments based on your preferences.

We will arrange complementary airport-hotel-hospital transfers in line with your travel and medical appointment arrangements.

• Duration of Stay

The duration of your stay in Istanbul will depend on the nature of your treatment. You may or may not require ICU and/or inpatient hospitalization care (detailed information is given in MSO inquiries).

Group Florence Nightingale was one of the first Turkish hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the international arm of the organization that reviews and accredits American hospitals. Their checklist includes over 350 criteria, including but not limited to surgical hygiene and anesthesia procedures, as well as evaluation of the systems in place for medical staff and nurses. JCI accreditation audits are conducted every 3 years.

• Experienced, Internationally Trained Physicians and Medical Experts

All Group Florence Nightingale physicians are fully licensed by the Turkish Medical Council to practice their specialty in Turkey. In addition, many are Board Certified in their specialty in the US, Australia or Europe. The Group Florence Nightingale credentialing process requires a formal review of each doctor’s qualifications and track record by the Credentials and Bylaws Committee and the Hospital’s Medical Executive Committee. These reviews take place before a doctor is appointed to the medical staff by the Hospital’s Board of Governors, and reviewed every three years thereafter.

Nurses, pharmacists, imaging and lab technicians must undergo schooling and pass certification exams to obtain licenses to practice at Group Florence Nightingale. Nurses are re-certified at 5-year intervals. Those with special responsibilities, notably ICU nurses, must receive special training and be certified as competent in the specific area of expertise.

Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital

Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital was opened in 2013 as the first Smart and Green Hospital in Turkey. The building has a total closed area of 50.254 sqm. in 18 stories and a heliport on its rooftop structured for patient transfers by air ambulances. Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital has 219 patient beds, 11+2 Operating rooms, 51 intensive care beds, 11 surgery rooms all equipped with laminar airflow, and 2 delivery rooms. All surgery rooms can be connected to a 300-seat conference room and international hubs per audio-visual, permitting interactive medical education and scientific activities. The building is equipped with the latest technology including but not limited to an EOS device – introduced for the first time in Turkey – which minimizes the risks associated with radiation exposure for patients by using very low dosage 2D / 3D X-ray radiation in Orthopedic whole-body imaging. The device provides simultaneous frontal and lateral digital images as well as a 3D display of the skeletal anatomy.

Atasehir Florence Nightingale Hospital provides 24/7 Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Hand Surgery services. Atasehir Florence Nightingale Hospital, which serves in almost every branch has a total of 102 beds, 10 adult intensive care beds and 9 neonatal intensive care beds, a total of 19 intensive care beds and 4 operating rooms.
