I am a retired Canadian physician. I injured myself and had an ultrasound showing complete tear of a tendon in my rotator cuff. However, after our initial discussion, I had a private pay mri and I told her that my arm appears to be broken and there will be no need for surgery: hence, I did not wish to waste her time. Dra Gomez Espinoza met with me anyway, and reviewed my mri with me over zoom. I was impressed with her thoroughness, kindness, and professionalism. I would not hesitate to contact her again in the future, should I have need of her surgical expertise.
