I decided to go to Columbia for a stem cell treatment for Parkinson’s disease because Dr. Carlos Rojas read my medical history and pointed out a few things that I was not aware were on there. Other places I had researched gave me a price and never asked for medical history. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Rojas and his team. I am just a month or so out of getting the stem cells. I saw an immediate improvement the day I received it. It was a minor thing to most, but a big deal to me. Before I went to Columbia. I could not turn over in bed at night. My body would freeze and my wife would have to physically/manually turn me from one side to another. Since the day I received the stem cells I have been able to toss and turn on my own. Doesn’t seem like much I know, but when you haven’t been able to do it for a while, it’s a big deal. I have also lowered some of the medication I take. It’s early in the process so I am hopeful that as time goes on I can adjust my medicine down more! I am so glad I did this! Daniel our translator and Benjamin our driver were so helpful and kind during our stay. The hotel was perfect! It had everything we needed! I was having trouble walking before I came so I wasn’t planning on doing much adventuring. This trip was all business. I would recommend this to anyone with Parkinson’s if they have the opportunity. I highly recommend Dr. Rojas. My walking has improved since the stem cell treatment. Slowly, as this process takes time. I am very hopeful for the future. I was 40 when I got diagnosed and I am now 48. This treatment was worth a try. I would recommend Dr. Rojas and his team. They are thorough. The facilities are clean and the nurses are great. Thank you Dr. Rojas and Daniel for everything!

From the beginning to the end, it was seamless. You have to understand I spent years researching trying to find the perfect daughter for my needs. I was introduced to Placid Way that introduced me to many many doctors, but I ended up finding Dr. Victor Samano and couldn’t be happier. Aileen his associate was such a pleasure and very responsive to all my questions and I had a lot of them. They did a double blepharoplasty on my ice and a roll face and neck left. Always done within three hours. I spent one night in the hospital then was released to go back. To my hotel where I could start to heal. The hospital was super clean and the nurses were on top of everything after getting back to the hotel day one through three or very painful and didn’t even recognize myself and actually the pain wasn’t that bad. It was more being uncomfortable with the headdress on. As time went on I see that five and six were my turnaround days and holy can I ever notice a big difference from the beginning to the ending Cancun, Dr. Samano we’re in touch on a daily basis to see how I was doing. I’ve even been back five days and they still both check in to make sure I’m OK I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. That’s a five star Dr. Samano with his professionalism was also a five star and Aikeen being very punctual with Messages and giving me all the information I needed to go forward was a definite five star as well. I can’t say much more, but I give this whole experience a time it wasn’t easy at the time of going in I had a lot of anxiety, but Dr. Samano and his team took very good care of me. I’m looking in the future to have some other things done with his clinic. So if you’re looking for a great doctor with great credentials, great bedside manner, professional clean speaks English. Dr. Adriana Gudino was amazing!! She truly cares about her patients and is very passionate about her work with stem cells and making sure we are maximizing the results with health and nutrition when returning home. Dr. Gudino is an incredible author and gave us a copy of her book, "Stem Cells--It's Not Science Fiction...It's Science in Action," which was full of very helpful information. The doctor and staff were very flexible with some changes in dates that we had to make due to family circumstances, and the kindness and understanding we received was amazing! I highly recommend Clinica MER to anyone considering stem cells. My son is 3 years old, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, legally blind with optic nerve hypoplasia, multiple brain anomalies, and developmentally delayed. His tone, strength, awareness, vision, and overall wellbeing showed significant improvement within the first couple of days post-treatment. When we arrived back home, even my husband noticed a huge difference in multiple areas. We are very blessed and most definitely plan on returning!

This doctor disfigured, gaslit and ghosted me. Dr Acosta gave me a BBL which involved liposuction. It gave me permanent lumps on my mid area He neither warned me of this risk, nor was it stated in the document I signed. When I left his office he told me to get lymphatic massages for the fibroids. I followed his instructions exactly, but it was ineffective. When I later contacted him about this, he told me that they weren’t fibroids and created a false narrative that this occurred because I didn’t follow his advice which was a blatant lie We had agreed in advance that I was to have 3 treatments with him: the second a BBL and the third a tummy tuck. He never advised me not to get a BBL or lipo (required for BBL). When I asked him to clarify,he told me that he’d stated that the proper treatment for this was a tummy tuck, which made no sense whatsoever. He refused to clarify what “this” even was. A tummy tuck in no way enhances the buttocks. I then sent him screenshots of every conversation we’d ever had, illustrating that at no time had he advised against the BBL. Since we were still slated to get the 3rd procedure (the tuck) I asked what he would do to treat these lumps during that time. No matter how many times I asked (even begged) I asked for specificity, he gave me cryptic, non-specific answers. He named procedures but refused to explain what they meant or what the risks were. When I initially approached him about this, it wasn’t to blame him. I just wanted a reasonable solution, yet he was defensive, manipulative, and vague from the very beginning and refused to provide me with any. These horrible lumps only appeared after the lipo. There is no other possible cause. He said it was loose skin which was expected. To be clear, IT IS NOT LOOSE SKIN. When I pull the skin back the hard lumps are still there, clear as day. The more I attempted to reach a coherent resolution, the more contentious and defensive he became; constantly deflecting, avoiding, and using cryptic rhetoric. He constantly gas-lit me and even questioned my mental health. It soon became apparent that he didn’t actually have a solution, or didn’t want to do what was necessary to resolve the problem, which is why he desperately tried to project the blame onto me. The last we spoke, he still agreed to see me for the third procedure which was part of our initial agreement, even though a resolution still had not been established. It was so stressful and still causes me extreme anxiety to this day. Then he just disappeared. For 6 months now I have tried politely and diplomatically to reach out to him, repeatedly explaining that I didn’t want to have to do this review but would do so if he didn’t respond. I was far more patient than I should have been. Clearly, he didn’t think I’d follow through Pictures don’t lie and there appears to be a pattern here, despite his high rating. I did a little digging and read a review by someone who stated that he had agreed to do a procedure on her, but when she asked him to be clear about the risks, he backed out of the arrangement. He obviously doesn’t have much respect for the hippocratic oath. The first procedure I got with him was a facelift, which went well and he seemed like a very nice person. Little did I know that if something were to go sideways, his MO would be to blame the victim and offer no empathy or clear solution. It should also be noted that he neglected to mention until after the 3rd day, that I should not sit on my butt. The first 6 weeks are the most important but the first 3 days in particular. As a result, I lost at least 50% of the fat he injected (he said I’d lose no more than 20 or 25%). I later got sick and lost the rest but that part wasn’t his fault. So in the end, there’s no butt enhancement, $10,000 lost, 6 weeks of extreme discomfort, and permanent disfigurement. I am beyond devastated. He will retort to this with lies and probably some out of context screenshots. Please don’t fall for it.

A year ago, I underwent stem cell therapy here. The entire process has been smooth, thanks to the clear explanations provided by the experienced doctor and nurse. I'm now eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first baby.
