| Orthopaedic Department - Lowest MRSA Rate in Europe |
| Our orthopaedic surgeons have extensive experience in surgical procedures using endoscopes ("keyhole surgery") and advanced prosthesis surgery involving total prosthetics for hips and knees as well as uni knee prosthetics. We have a new operating ward with advanced equipment for this purpose, and work in conjunction with our own anesthesiologists. During your stay you will receive extensive rehabilitation with the hospitals physical therapist. The orthopaedic department has performed more than 1,500 surgical procedures per year. |

| Ophthalmic/Eye Department - Latest Technology |
| The eye department handles all types of eye-related problems. The section has its own surgical unit where we treat patients with cataracts and perform various sight-correcting procedures. We possess the most advanced laser on the market for operating on near-sightedness and long-sightedness. We can also perform operations for treating severe vision impairment using a technique known as ICL implantation. ReStor® is a new revolutionary way to treat presbyopi. The Restor® intraocular lens (IOL) is designed to improve vision at all distances. |
