Visual Aids Centre was established in 1982 by Vipin Buckshey. The Center’s aim has always been to give the best available answers to the customers various visual needs. Accordingly, it functioned by constantly imbibing new technologies over a period of time.
All this, reinforced by Dr. Buckshey’s attitude for taking special care for every customer has led to a good level of confidence among a very wide cross section of respectable clientele. Over the years customers from all corners of India and abroad have patronized the professional services of Visual Aids Center and this list is still continuing to grow rapidly.

As a senior Optometrist & Contact Lens Consultant; Dr. Buckshey is also the Optometrist to His Excellency, The President of the Republic of India. Dr. Buckshey has had the rare privilege & distinction of serving five successive Presidents of the Republic of India. The Government of India recently gave recognition to his professional services by conferring the most prestigious National Presidential Award of Padmashree to him on the 30th of March 2000.

Recently the entire clinic & Optical Clinic & Eyewear showroom has been extensively renovated & refurbished. We have added the latest VISX Customvue vision correction Laser Facility to provide all three forms of vision correction under one roof. Visual Aids Center is the only Ophthalmic Center to offer this facility. The three forms of correction are Spectacles, Contact Lenses and Lasik Excimer Laser correction.
