About - Dr. Prabha Manchanda
Bio
An alumni of Lorreto house, Calcutta, she did her medical schooling from Calcutta Medical College. She then went to UK where she pursued and successfully finished her Fellowship at the Royal College in General Surgery in London. This she followed up with another fellowship (double fellowship) in Surgery with a specialization in Gynecology from the Royal College in Edinburgh, Scotland.
She returned to India in 1967 and joined the prestigious Holy Family Hospital as a Senior consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology and later also joined Moolchand hospital where she worked till 1980’s.
Surgical Expertise:
She is a pioneer in gynecological endoscopy and was the first to bring many Endoscopic procedures like TCRE to India.
