Dr. Kushagra Katariya (M.D., F.A.C.S), Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Kushagra Katariya, an alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College. Delhi has worked at the Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida. In his last assignment, Dr. Katariya was the Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Miami VA Medical Center at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida.

Dr. Katariya is a well known cardiothoracic surgeon with interests in off-pump cardiac surgery, minimally invasive/ thoracoscopic valve surgery, end vascular therapy for thoracic aortic disease / trauma, surgical therapy for arterial fibrillation and lung cancer therapy. He has led many research activities in cardiac surgery, heart and lung transplant surgery and thoracic oncology. He has to his credit numerous books, monographs and journals and has been a guest speaker at various conferences all over the world. Besides, he is also a member of many professional and honorary organizations such as Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Association of V.A. Surgeons, International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery and American Association of Physicians from India.

Dr. Katariya is currently the CEO of Artemis Health Science, an organization that aims to define and deliver cutting edge healthcare in India and build a comprehensive healthcare platform of healthcare delivery, innovative and translational healthcare research and development, healthcare education and development of healthcare devices.

Mukul Varma is a member of AHI core team and is spearheading the Finance & Legal vertical of AHI, Gurgaon. He is a Charted Accountant by profession and has more than 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, taxation, Risk Management, Commercial Operations etc. His last experience was with Reliance Retail Ltd. Prior to that he had also worked with Ballarpur Industries Ltd & Samtel Group in various capacities.

His varied experience strengthens his ability to appreciate and understand the working of complex business environment. His ability to analytically think, develop interpersonal relationships, work in cross functional teams as a team leader and player makes him a true leader. His overall experience on both financial & general management will be pivotal in guiding Artemis to new heights.

Partha Dey is leading the Operations, Clinical Engineering & IT vertical at AHI, Gurgaon. He is a M.Sc. (Physiology) and a Master of Hospital Administration (MHA). He brings in a rich experience of 11 years spanning the entire gamut of Healthcare IT Operations (both in US & India), Processes, Material Management, Financials, Marketing and Sales, Planning and Execution of projects, Human Capital Management, Quality Management and Certification. His last assignment was with Perot Systems Application Services as a Senior Business Analyst.

He has an extensive experience in software and business process delivery in onsite - offshore model, setting up new healthcare centers, support services areas and quality process to achieve total patient satisfaction.

Promila Adhana, an Engineer and MBA, is heading the HR & Training division at AHI, Gurgaon. She has rich insights and experience in all facets of human resource including policy formulations, strategic and operational implementations and procedural work methods for training and education.

In her 12 years of professional career, she has worked relentlessly in Healthcare, Manufacturing, Information Technology and Defence Forces, providing strategic HR leadership. Dr. Anjali Kumar, MBBS, MD (Anaesthesiology), is leading the Medical Services division of AHI Gurgaon.
