Pre-Travel Consultations

Before you even begin your journey, it is crucial to know and agree upon expectations, risks, and possible outcomes of any procedure. As soon as you and your physician come to a mutual agreement, you can proceed and begin to make plans to come to Costa Rica. Pre-travel consultations can be done via telephone or e-mail or both. A bilingual translator will be provided in the case of the telephone pre-travel consultation.

Transportation

We will take care of all transfers from the airport to your hotel and to our clinic during all medical procedures.

Post-Treatment Recovery

After you have received your medical treatment, before returning to your home country, it’s crucial that your body recovers. Recovery time varies from patient to patient, and your physician will determine how much time he believes is necessary for sufficient recovery. In the majority of cases, you will spend your recovery time either at or close to the clinic where you had the procedure.

Periodontics

The mouth is full of bacteria. These bacteria, along with mucus and other particles, constantly form a sticky, colorless film that is deposited on the teeth. Brushing and flossing help remove the plaque. But if the plaque is not removed, it hardens into deposits called a "scale" or "tartar", which houses the bacteria that simply brushing can not remove. Only a professional cleaning by a dentist or dental hygienist can remove tartar.

Endodontics

When the pulp or soft tissue inside the tooth is inflamed, whether from infection, excessive wear or disease, it can lead to a person suffering from serious and intense toothaches. To relieve pain and to prevent any complications, the tooth must be extracted or saved by root canal therapy.

Wisdom tooth extraction

The third molars are the last molars in the jaw, it is often withheld because there is no room, and we have less and less space because we eat a diet less and less abrasive, which causes the teeth and molars will wear less and so have less space to accommodate all the teeth.

Other than being painful when they errupt, they may also harbor bacterial plaque that degenerates into cavities in both the included and in the adjacent molar, causing intense pain.

Dental Implants

This surgery is a reliable method of tooth replacement, whether you have lost many or just one. After being subjected to this treatment, your teeth will look and feel completely natural, increasing your self-esteem and improving the way you interact with other people.The implants consist of the placement of a titanium root inside the jaw bone or mandible through a minor surgical procedure. On this basis we can place, one or more teeth.

Bone Graft

The bone grafts are performed if there is missing bone in the jaw or bone mass is low in height or width. A dental bone graft is considered a necessity when the jawbone has not enough bone to support and stabilize dental implants.

Porcelain Crowns

When a tooth is weakened by cavities, root canals, several large arrays, abuse or wear and age, then it is indicated to protect it with a crown, which covers the entire visible surface of the tooth and gives it strength and durability. These can be made only with porcelain, or with a core of other material to thicken, more recently metal zirconium is used for this purpose.

Dental Whitening

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic treatment (cosmetic dentistry or cosmetic) that makes your teeth look whiter, brighter and healthier and can be performed in office or at home.

Resins

Dental resins are aesthetic restoration of teeth, which can be used on damaged or decayed teeth in which the material used is exactly the resin. This material is worked to the color of the tooth so the result is a cosmetic restoration of the teeth.

Porcelain veneers

If you have stained teeth, misaligned or broken, then porcelain veneers may be the perfect solution for you. Through this procedure, the Doctor can give you that winning smile you so much wanted. You can change the color, alignment and shape of your teeth.

Porcelain Bridge

Crowns and bridges are an alternative dental restoration techniques, allowing repair or replace damaged teeth or missing teeth, making cosmetic appearance similar to the original tooth.
