Clear Sky Recovery is an amazing place. The work they do here is truly saving lives. Mine being one of them. I came here with a serious opiate addiction that controlled my life for 12 years. The first couple days were a little rough for me but the staff made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Ibogaine is truly a miracle plant. It is hard to put into words just how much this plant has helped change my life. I guess the best way to put it is I feel like I have a new purpose in life and I feel like my old self again. My mind is clear, I am looking forward to my future, I have connected with my wife and family on a deeper level and I don’t want to use drugs. My daughter was addicted to heroin and I feared losing her forever. We tried numerous rehabs, suboxone, methadone, and too many other treatments to even remember. Nothing produced long term sobriety and with each relapse, we were closer to losing her. My daughter told me about Ibogaine and asked me to please research this method of recovery. Knowing that Clear Sky was a medically based program was an important part of my decision. On a leap of faith, I sent my daughter to Clear Sky Recovery in Mexico. The waiting was painstaking, not quite sure what the outcome would be……Three days after she arrived at Clear Sky, the phone call came – on the other end of the phone was my daughter – she was alive…..and her voice sounded as I hadn’t heard it in years…
I flew to the aftercare treatment we had arranged to attend a family week…..I was still not sure who would greet me. When I walked in the door, my daughter approached me and hugged me. When I looked into her eyes, I can honestly say, it was the first time in so many long years, I saw my daughter looking back. All this happened over 12 years ago and I am happy to report that my daughter is not only alive but living her dream and a productive member of the world.
