Pacific Healthcare Signs Agreement with Bangkok Mediplex
Singaporean provider of healthcare services joins hands with Thailand’s first medical complex
Bangkok Mediplex Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Singapore mainboard-listed Pacific Healthcare Holdings Ltd. The agreement appoints Pacific Healthcare to help conceptualize and manage Bangkok’s first non-hospital medical complex.
Bangkok Mediplex will occupy 70,000 sq ft of commercial space in downtown Sukhumvit as part of a 33-floor condominium development. It will have direct access to Ekamai BTS Skytrain station. Bangkok Mediplex will provide outpatient services focusing on aesthetic, dental and wellness treatments. It will aim to service both local residents and the booming medical tourism market in Thailand.
Incorporated in 2001 in Singapore, Pacific Healthcare is an integrated healthcare provider offering a comprehensive range of services. Pacific now runs 5 major integrated medical centers within the prime Orchard Road area in Singapore. In recent months, the group has stepped up its international expansion to India, China and Vietnam. Bangkok Mediplex is its first contract in Thailand.
