  • Dr. Marek Krol was the first in Poland to conduct a retrograde thrombendarterectomy procedure of the right coronary artery gaining access through collateral circulation vessels from the side of the left coronary artery.

  • Award from the Minister of health for a publication in the Journal of American College of Cardiology - 2009
