Dr. Shakhov completed one of the best and internationally recognized Fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery. During this time, which was spent mostly in Southern California, Dr. Shakhov dedicated himself exclusively to modern Face Lift techniques and their application in different clinical situations.
Nowadays, Dr. Shakhov is author of more than 40 scientific publications, and holds surgical privileges in the best hospitals at international level.
Education
He completed his training in Cranial and Maxilla Facial Surgery and Head and Neck Reconstructive Microsurgery in the prestigious Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Moscow. He was also trained in the world leading center of Plastic Surgery: New York City based Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery in the famous NYU Medical Center and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He also completed surgical training in “Clinica Planas”, in Barcelona, Spain, and in the Institute of Reconstructive Surgery “Dr. Jose Guerrerosantos”

Dr. Shaklov is dishonest. He has no integrity. He appeared to be drunk during my consult and two phone calls. He took several weeks to provide a 'quote', and he tried to scam me out of my consult fee. When I disputed it on Paypal, this guy had the audacity to manufacture a quote and send it via snail mail, weeks later. This isn't someone you want anywhere near you, especially in a vulnerable state. Run, don't walk, from this guy!

Excellent work from Dr Shakhov, I had rhinoplasty and mentoplasty with him some years ago, and I am very grateful to him for the treatment and the results I obtained !!! I am thinking of going again for some additional touchups on my face and I know he is the only one who can do it professionally and excellently !!
