Stage 4 Lymphoma Recovery Story: How Denise Davison Found Hope and Healing at ITC
When a patient receives a diagnosis of Stage 4 Lymphoma, the world often seems to stop. For Denise Davison, the initial path led through conventional cancer clinics where the environment felt impersonal, the care felt like a "broken system," and hope was a rare commodity. This is a common sentiment among those battling advanced-stage cancers: the feeling of being just another number in an overtaxed medical infrastructure.
However, Denise's story takes a dramatic and inspiring turn. By looking beyond traditional borders and exploring the potential of integrative oncology at the Immunity Therapy Center (ITC) in Tijuana, Mexico, she moved from a place of trauma and fear to a "radical remission." Watch her full testimonial to understand how personalized, non-toxic cancer treatments can change the trajectory of a terminal diagnosis.

The Reality of Conventional Oncology: Why Patients Seek Alternatives
For many facing advanced stage 4 lymphoma, the standard protocol often includes aggressive chemotherapy and radiation. While these tools have their place, the delivery of care can often feel mechanical. Denise Davison notes at [00:03] that she went to a cancer clinic and felt extremely dissatisfied with the care. She didn't feel comfortable, a sentiment echoed by countless patients who feel that the "medical system is really broken."
When the system is "broken," it usually refers to a lack of individualization. In standard oncology, the treatment is often "one size fits all" based on the type of cancer, rather than the specific needs, genetic markers, or emotional state of the human being carrying the disease. This leads patients like Denise to search for a more compassionate and comprehensive approach.
How Denise Discovered Immunity Therapy Center (ITC)
The journey to alternative cancer treatment in Mexico often begins with a supportive family member. For Denise, it was her daughter who spent countless hours researching online. At [00:36], Denise explains how her daughter found the information on ITC (Immunity Therapy Center). This digital search is often the first step toward a miracle for many families who feel they have reached a dead end at home.
Initial contact with ITC often relieves a massive burden. Denise recounts her first interview at [00:43], describing the staff as "wonderful." They explained her diagnosis in detail and, most importantly, made her feel that they actually cared—a stark contrast to her previous experiences in the traditional medical environment.
What Makes Immunity Therapy Center Unique?
The philosophy at ITC is built on the belief that the body has the inherent capacity to heal if given the right support. Unlike conventional therapies that often decimate the immune system, ITC focuses on immunotherapy and non-toxic protocols designed to strengthen the host while targeting the disease.
Denise’s transition from the initial interview to being told "come tomorrow" at [01:18] highlights the efficiency of the center. There are no months-long waiting lists when your life is on the line; the focus is on immediate intervention.
The Power of Compassionate Doctors: Dr. Pablo Orozco and Dr. Bautista
A significant portion of Denise's recovery is attributed to the medical leadership at ITC. She speaks specifically about Dr. Pablo Orozco at [01:44], describing him as "unbelievable." What stood out to her was that he focused on hope and healing rather than the fear-based language often associated with stage 4 cancer.
Furthermore, the founder and CEO, Dr. Bautista, maintains a hands-on approach that is rare in large healthcare organizations. Denise was impressed that Dr. Bautista knew every patient in the facility [02:48]. This level of leadership ensures that the entire clinic follows a culture of empathy and medical excellence.
Conventional vs. Integrative Oncology at ITC
| Feature | Conventional Oncology | ITC Approach (Integrative) |
|---|---|---|
| Treatment Focus | Destroying cancer cells directly. | Boosting the immune system to fight cancer. |
| Side Effects | Often severe (Hair loss, nausea, immune depletion). | Minimal; treatments are designed to be comfortable. |
| Patient Experience | Clinical and often impersonal. | Family-like, compassionate, and hope-filled. |
| Duration | Ongoing, often for years. | Focused intensive programs (e.g., 3-6 weeks). |
Achieving the Impossible: Radical Remission and NED
Denise Davison’s results were nothing short of miraculous. After three weeks of initial treatment [02:07] and a follow-up of three additional weeks, she underwent a CT scan. The result? NED—No Evidence of Disease [03:04].
For a patient who initially looked at her radiology images and believed she "probably wouldn't see her next birthday" [03:35], the achievement of NED is a life-altering victory. This term, No Evidence of Disease, signifies that the cancer is no longer detectable by current imaging standards, offering the patient a fresh start and a return to vitality.
The Science of Healing: Strengthening Your Own Body
At the core of the treatments Denise underwent is the understanding of the human immune system. At [03:30], she mentions how easy the treatments were to go through. She had researched these protocols and realized that "our immune system is our whole body that takes care of us and makes us well" [03:43].
Immunotherapy centers like ITC utilize various modalities, which may include:
- Hyperthermia: Using heat to weaken cancer cells and make them more susceptible to other therapies.
- IV Vitamin C: High-dose vitamin therapy that acts as an oxidative stressor to cancer cells while sparing healthy ones.
- Ozone Therapy: Increasing oxygen levels in the blood to create an environment where cancer (which thrives in low oxygen) cannot survive.
- Personalized Detoxification: Clearing the body of toxins to allow the immune system to focus entirely on tumor elimination.
The Medical Tourism Experience in Tijuana, Mexico
One of the biggest hurdles for North American patients is the fear of traveling to Mexico. Denise address this head-on at [03:53], stating that she has "never met so many wonderful, nice people" and feels "very safe." She speaks highly of the Hispanic and Mexican population's kindness and caring nature.
Many patients stay at the Quartz Hotel & Spa [04:28], a facility specifically designed for medical travelers. It offers a level of hospitality Denise describes as being "treated like royalty." This supportive environment is crucial because healing occurs more effectively when a patient is relaxed and feels welcomed.
A Message to Others: There is Still Hope
The closing message of Denise’s story is a powerful exhortation to anyone recently diagnosed with cancer. At [04:59], she encourages people: "You have cancer, you've got hope." By exploring the Immunity Therapy Center, patients open themselves up to a world where they can walk out the doors "either cured or much more healthy."
Denise’s emotional summary at the end of the video is a reminder that we are more than our diagnoses. While the "broken system" might offer a grim prognosis, the field of integrative medicine is proving every day that radical remission is possible, even at stage 4.

00:03 - I went to the cancer clinic and I was not very satisfied with the care and I didn't feel comfortable. And my daughter was researching in the meantime and she ran across the information on ITC on the internet.
00:24 - You know, always think that you know we have such great treatment there, but we actually don't, which is very sad because our medical system is really broken.
00:36 - I got the information from ITC, I called and I had an interview, and they were wonderful. They made me feel so good.
00:50 - They made me feel like they really cared and explained my diagnosis. And they asked for my records. And so once I got all my records, I called back and had the second interview.
01:07 - And it was the first time that I felt like somebody really cared. And I asked them, well, when should I come down? And he said, tomorrow.
01:19 - And I said, well, we can't come tomorrow, but we'll be there on Tuesday. So I came and I had three weeks of treatment, the first three weeks.
01:33 - And it went really, really well. I was just very happy. What I mean here, I have never seen such great communication, such great compassion and care.
01:44 - And my doctor, Dr. Pablo Orozco, was unbelievable. I mean, he never mentioned the word cancer. And every day he gave me hope.
01:56 - And that was one thing I never had any hope at all. And I when I first looked up my Pet scan and my daughter, my husband was sitting next to me.
02:06 - And of course they don't know how to read the radiology images, but I did. And at the time I looked at it, I knew I probably wouldn't see my next birthday and it was very traumatic.
02:23 - And so when I came down here, I mean, the treatment was so good and so positive. And then they gave me, like a ten-day reprieve and then to come back three more weeks.
02:40 - And Dr. Bautista, you know, had said, I think you need to come back. And that was another thing that I was so impressed with that the founder and CEO, he knew every patient in the facility.
02:53 - And, I came back and went through three more weeks. And afterwards I had my CT scan here, and I'm NED—I'm no evidence of disease.
03:08 - And that's just, I mean, I'm a radical remission and a miracle at the same time. So it's been wonderful. I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for ITC.
03:30 - The treatments are very comfortable. They're very easy to go through. All the treatments are. And I've read up on these treatments and they're all great for building your immune system.
03:42 - And that's the thing that I knew is that our immune system is our whole body that takes care of us and makes us well.
03:56 - Since I've been here, I've never met so many wonderful, nice people and feel very safe and, I think that the Hispanic and Mexican population are just so kind and caring.
04:12 - And I've met so many great individuals, I mean, just here in the facility. And so, you know, that part of it, I really don't think that anybody should be concerned about the safety.
04:28 - Because, like, we stay at the QUARTZ hotel and it's like, you know, you're treated like royalty there, and they're so good. And they really absolutely make you feel welcome and warm and safe.
04:45 - And so that would not even be a concern. And I would tell everybody that too, because most of the media out there, you have to sort through it anyway and know what's true and what's not true.
05:02 - So I just encourage people, you have cancer, you've got hope. Look at coming down here and they will do everything in their power that they can do to make it.
05:14 - So the day you walk out these doors, you're either cured or you're much more healthy. And that's all we can ask for.
