Understanding Triple-Positive Breast Cancer and Holistic Therapies
Receiving a cancer diagnosis is terrifying, but specific tumor pathologies can make the news even more daunting. Clara details her specific diagnosis at [00:10], noting she had triple-positive breast cancer. This means the cancer cells tested positive for estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2).
In conventional medicine, this type of tumor is considered highly aggressive. Doctors typically prescribe a harsh regimen of chemotherapy, targeted drug therapies, and hormone-blocking medications. These treatments often cause severe, debilitating side effects that drastically reduce a patient's quality of life.
Holistic breast cancer therapy centers offer a different philosophy. Instead of destroying the body to kill the cancer, these centers focus on strengthening the immune system. They utilize natural and targeted therapies to help the body identify and destroy malignant cells organically.
The Journey from Canada to Mexico for Alternative Cancer Treatment
Medical tourism for cancer care has seen massive growth over the last decade. Patients facing dire diagnoses frequently cross international borders to access treatments unavailable in their home countries. Clara explains at [02:23] that while they lived in Canada, they made the pivotal decision to travel to Tijuana for care.
The regulatory environment in North America often restricts doctors from using innovative, alternative therapies. Mexico, however, allows licensed physicians to employ a wider range of integrated modalities. This legislative freedom attracts top-tier medical professionals and desperate patients alike to border cities.
Clara’s journey involved initial intensive therapy sessions followed by careful monitoring. She underwent a concentrated treatment block in August, followed by a three-week follow-up session in November [00:20]. This structured yet flexible approach is a hallmark of high-quality alternative cancer clinics.
Why Immunity Therapy Center is a Top Choice for Alternative Medicine
Word-of-mouth referrals remain incredibly powerful in the medical tourism industry. Clara discovered the Immunity Therapy Center through a friend from Belize who had also successfully battled breast cancer there [03:47]. This personal testimony provided the initial spark of hope.
The center's reputation quickly spread through their community. Wilmer recalls telling Dr. Bautista that if Clara survived, the clinic would see an influx of patients. True to his word, nearly one hundred patients from Belize eventually traveled to the center based on Clara's healing success [04:03].
The facility also prioritizes patient comfort to reduce the stress of travel. During her treatment, Clara stayed in a designated hotel room located within the same medical complex [05:00]. This seamless integration of accommodation and medical care helps patients focus entirely on their recovery.
Navigating the Emotional Toll of a Cancer Diagnosis on Family
A cancer diagnosis never happens in a vacuum; it deeply affects spouses, children, and extended family. Clara opens up about the timing of her illness at [00:34], mentioning that their family life had just endured a very tough period prior to the diagnosis.
Severe illness forces couples to re-evaluate their priorities and lean on each other. Clara felt a strong spiritual conviction that if God could guide them through their marital struggles, He would also carry her through this physical battle [00:54]. Faith often plays a critical role in a patient's decision to pursue alternative healing paths.
The stress of cancer can easily break a family, but it can also forge unbreakable bonds. The couple's unified front allowed them to make bold medical decisions together. This emotional resilience is a vital component of holistic recovery.
The Importance of Diagnostics in Alternative Treatment Centers
A common misconception about alternative medicine is that it ignores modern diagnostics. This is entirely false. High-quality alternative clinics rely heavily on exact scientific data to formulate treatment plans.
Clara ensured she had comprehensive imaging before beginning her alternative therapies. At [02:34], she explains that she brought all her test results, including CAT scans and MRIs, from Canada to Mexico. The clinic then ran additional specialized blood tests to establish a baseline for her immune health.
Ongoing monitoring is also crucial for long-term survivors. Clara still undergoes regular mammograms and occasional blood panels to confirm her continued remission [03:32]. Integrating standard diagnostics with alternative treatments provides a comprehensive safety net for patients.
Evaluating Free Conventional Care vs. Alternative Oncology
Making the financial and logistical choice to leave a free healthcare system is incredibly difficult. Canada offers universal health coverage, meaning Clara could have received surgery, chemo, and radiation at no out-of-pocket cost. Wilmer addresses this exact scenario at [09:58], acknowledging that conventional care was readily available.
However, the couple weighed the hidden costs of conventional treatments against the benefits of alternative care. They recognized that the physical destruction caused by standard oncology often leads to a diminished quality of life. They actively decided against the standard protocol because they felt it was not the true path to healing.
Witnessing poor outcomes in other patients further cemented their choice. Wilmer states frankly that they had not seen many survivors of the aggressive treatments offered in their home country [10:08]. This stark observation drove them to invest their resources in the Immunity Therapy Center.
Dr. Bautista’s Personalized Approach to Holistic Recovery
The success of any alternative cancer clinic largely depends on the expertise and compassion of its medical director. Dr. Carlos Bautista has built a reputation for providing highly individualized care. Wilmer describes his profound initial impression of the doctor at [08:16], noting he could see the physician's dedication immediately.
Unlike the sterile, rushed environment of many modern hospitals, the clinic operates on a deeply personal level. Dr. Bautista assured the couple that while he cannot promise miracles, he applies his extensive wisdom and customized protocols to give patients the best possible fighting chance. Wilmer felt total peace and relaxation after speaking with him [08:44].
- Customized IV Therapies: Delivering high-dose vitamins and minerals directly into the bloodstream to bypass digestive degradation.
- Hyperthermia: Using controlled heat to stress cancer cells, making them more vulnerable to immune responses without harming healthy tissue.
- Immune Modulation: Utilizing specialized vaccines and biological agents to retrain the body's immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells.
- Nutritional Protocols: Implementing strict dietary changes to starve cancer cells of glucose while nourishing the patient's core vitality.
Nine Years in Remission: Long-Term Success with Alternative Cancer Therapies
The most critical metric for evaluating cancer treatments is long-term, disease-free survival. Clara stands as a powerful testament to the efficacy of holistic medicine. She has been in full remission for nine years, living a completely normal, healthy life [08:50].
Wilmer emphasizes that looking at his wife today, one would never guess she had battled an aggressive, life-threatening illness. Her energy, vitality, and physical health remain incredibly strong [09:02]. There are no lingering side effects from toxic chemicals because she avoided conventional chemotherapy altogether.
For patients hesitating to try alternative medicine, Clara and Wilmer's story provides actionable proof. They strongly advise others to look beyond the limited scope of standard oncology. Alternative triple-positive breast cancer treatment in Tijuana offers genuine hope, real healing, and the possibility of a long, healthy future.

[00:06] Clara Kornelsen: I'm Clara Kornelsen.
[00:08] Wilmer Kornelsen: Wilmer Kornelsen.
[00:10] Clara Kornelsen: Nine years ago I came here with triple-positive breast cancer. Her2 included, progesterone, estrogen positive. Yeah. So I came for treatments nine years ago in August and then for a three-week treatment and then back in November again.
[00:30] Interviewer: How was it affecting your life?
[00:34] Clara Kornelsen: I had been through a very tough time in our marriage or family life just prior to that. And now we had a very good family life when I found out that I was diagnosed with breast cancer. But it was like, it was just a very, I had a strong feeling that if God had been able to take me through that terrible time of our marriage and family life, he would also take me through this. It was a very good time, but stressful and where I knew that I had to totally rely on God that he would give Dr. Bautista wisdom to give me the right treatments.
[01:18] Interviewer: Were you treated back home?
[01:21] Clara Kornelsen: I came here and took all my treatments. I did get an option to get treatments back home, but we felt like God said, "I'll take care of the rest." So I didn't take any other treatments, just the three weeks of treatments here in August and then in November again. I did get all the tests in Canada and I brought the... we lived at that time, we lived in Canada, so I brought all the test results. And just to make sure that they were correct, they did take some blood tests here, but all the CAT scan, MRIs, and all those I took in Canada and brought the results out here.
[01:59] Interviewer: What was your first impression when you met Dr. Bautista?
[02:02] Clara Kornelsen: I felt very confident that this was the place to be, and as I still do up till today.
[02:08] Interviewer: Have you had any recent checkups?
[02:12] Clara Kornelsen: I'm taking mammograms almost every year. Once in a while blood tests just to make sure everything's fine, but yeah, everything is good. Yeah.
[02:24] Interviewer: How did you find out about us?
[02:27] Clara Kornelsen: I had a friend from Belize who came here with breast cancer, so that's how we started with Dr. Bautista. And my husband told him back then, if my wife will survive, then you will get a lot more patients from Belize yet. And I think there have been about a hundred different patients already from Belize here because they heard of the good testimony and they see me still being totally fine.
[02:53] Interviewer: How was your stay in Tijuana?
[02:57] Clara Kornelsen: Well, back then it was in another office, a smaller one. So we had a hotel room in the same hospital, which was very good. And I kept hearing that Dr. Bautista had moved and his clinic had moved, and I was always wondering how things would be because I heard there was a lot of changes. And I'm so glad to be back to see what all my friends have been experiencing and where they have been.
[03:24] Interviewer: What brings you back to Immunity Therapy Center?
[03:28] Wilmer Kornelsen: One thing is that my brother's here. And also to report like what has happened to us. We're definitely survivors and we're definitely happy and there's definitely a solution for cancer that seems like there is no way. It's like back when I was a young boy, when they heard that word cancer, that basically meant shotgun, you're dead. And now my wife is one of them that heard the word cancer and not even the best kind, was very aggressive, and she's here. And I was totally in peace.
[04:14] Wilmer Kornelsen: And let me reverse a little bit why I'm so relaxed. The first thing that I did, I knew I asked God if my wife would be okay. And he said, "You're just in time." So I told Bautista that. And then Bautista said, and I told him both, we said that, "But you can't heal her." We knew that. But I told Bautista that, "You're the one that God put in my life and our lives, and you're going to... God is going to give you wisdom and my wife will be okay."
[04:51] Wilmer Kornelsen: And here is a very important answer or a very important thing. When I looked in his eyes, Bautista, I could see it. This is the guy. This guy will do it. He has his heart and soul right in, right there with... he's 100% here and he will. I was totally relaxed. I could see it in his face, in his eyes all over that this guy is the one. This guy. God will give him wisdom, my wife will be okay. I was totally relaxed.
[05:27] Interviewer: How has your life been after 9 years in remission?
[05:30] Wilmer Kornelsen: Like if there has nothing ever happened to my wife. Like we're totally good, totally perfect. Nothing like, she's like, there was nothing happened.
[05:41] Clara Kornelsen: Strong and healthy as ever.
[05:43] Wilmer Kornelsen: Yeah.
[05:44] Interviewer: What would you tell people that are hesitant of alternative medicine?
[05:49] Wilmer Kornelsen: Well, here's the proof. We're here, we're alive. And we do believe if we had taken the medical turn, which was offered to us and actually for free because Canada has free medical. We knew right away that's not the plan. We haven't seen so many survivors. I'll be honest. We do not see so many survivors, and we know this is the place. So we strongly suggest people go back here. It's because he's here to help the people. That's the difference.
