Dr. Ozgur Ugurtay has worked as research assistant at the Audiology Branch of the Ear Nose Throat Department at Dokuz Eylül University from 2003 to 2006. He earned his Audiology master degree in 2006. In this time period, he has worked at the unit of diagnosis and treatment of vocal disorders as well as at the unit of diagnosis and treatment of balance disorders.
He has written his master thesis on vocal disorders. He participated in numerous national and international conferences about vocal disorders and balance disorders. He has worked in Cochlear Implant sector from 2007 to 2011, and completed his trainings on cochlear implants in Belgium, Swiss, and Sweden.
He attended 11 different training programs abroad, and gained the “Instructor” title, which is effective in all Europe regarding cochlear implant. He has worked in the charge of the trainings for surgeons and audiologists in African regions and in Malta.
