Practicing since 2000, Dr. Shauna Birdsall is a renowned naturopathic physician providing customized naturopathic recommendations in conjunction with patients’ conventional oncology care at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Western Regional Medical Center (Western). She is the Medical Director of Naturopathic Medicine and Integrative Oncology at Western and provides clinical oversight to both naturopathic physicians and acupuncturists. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis and doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Shauna Birdsall completed a residency training program in naturopathic medicine and oncology at CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern).
She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology. She is also a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the American Society for Clinical Oncology, the Society for Integrative Oncology and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is an author of numerous research studies presented at major medical meetings. She has also been published in the journal 'Integrative Cancer Therapies'.
