Dr. Syeda Asma Khalid, Anesthesiologist - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Dr. Syeda Asma Khalid completed her medical graduation (MBBS) at the Dow University of Heath Sciences, Pakistan in 1997. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FRCPS) in 2011. Dr. Syeda started her career in Pakistan where she practiced at the Agha Khan University Hospital (1999 - 2000). She then moved on to the Civil Hospital where she practiced was in charge of Anesthesia for Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Neurosurgeries. After 8 years, Dr Syeda continued her practice at the Dr. Ziauddin University Hospital (2011) where she was an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia. Subsequently, she had short stints at the Karachi Institute of Heart Disease as a Senior Registrar and the Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC) as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia In 2013, Dr Syeda moved to Dubai where she worked at a well-known tertiary private hospital providing Anesthesia support to surgeries, ICU cases as well as Obstetrics pain management. Dr. Syeda has more than 15 years of experience in her field spanning the Middle East and Pakistan. She is active in research and has published papers in peer reviewed journals. She has also participated in International conferences as a presenter on many occasions.
