About - Prof.Dr.Hayrullah Derici
Dr. Hayrullah Derici has graduated from Izmir Bornova Anatolian High School in 1985 and Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1991.
Between 1991 and 1996 he has worked as an assistant of general surgery in İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and he became General Surgeon on 26.06.1996. He served in military service in Istanbul Naval Hospital.
In 1998, he was appointed as “Chief Assistant” to the 3rd Surgery Clinic of İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. In 2007, he achieved Board Certification of Turkish Surgical Association. In 2007, he became entitled to get the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery. In 2009, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of General Surgery at Balıkesir University Faculty of Medicine. In 2013, he was appointed as a Professor. He is fluent in German and English. He is married and has two children.
