I will admit, at first I had some concerns about going to another country for dental work, such as: Will they be there with transportation like they said they would be? Was the office really as nice as the pictures show, or was I walking into a dump and going to be sitting there for hours before they even get started?

My first conversation with the clinic was with a young man named Andre. He spoke English fluently, which was a huge relief — that was one of my major concerns when booking the trip. The fact is that everyone at the clinic spoke English very well. So, Andre was a very nice and polite young man with whom I did all of the communicating and scheduling, except for one call when I talked to someone else and had to inform them that I had to cut my stay there from one week down to three days. Even after that, he emailed me to inform me that it would not be enough time to have my crowns made, which I was already aware of — but it was reassuring to know that there was good communication within their office.

So, I flew in on Sunday, and on Monday morning, Andre called me up an hour before my appointment and said he would pick me up and take me to the clinic, which he did.

Got there at 10:30 in the morning and was amazed at how modern and up-to-date everything was. There was nobody but myself there, and there was no waiting at all. I was introduced to Dr. Miller and his staff — all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. I proceeded to have my tooth extracted and bone buildup done, and also had a screw inserted for an abutment on a different tooth that was already out. After, Andre drove me to the pharmacy and went in with me to get my prescriptions, then dropped me off at the motel.

In all, it was a very pleasant trip. I felt right at home and very comfortable. Dr. Miller did a wonderful job — so far (still need to go back one more time for crowns).

So, if you're at all nervous about going to Mexico for dental work, relax — give this place a call. I highly recommend them and am sure you will be as pleased as I am. And as for the cost — well, I was able to pay for the airfare to Mexico not once, but twice, spend a few days there, have my dental work done, and still end up saving around three thousand dollars.

What a wonderful experience I had with Yeahsmile office in Cancun. I'm from Chicago and heard about Dr. Miller's office and decided to call. I was so impressed with him and the entire staff on the phone that I decided to visit and see if he was as good as I thought. This was the absolute best dental treatment and experience I have had and stands head and shoulders above any treatment I have received in Canada in regards to the service, experience, quality of work, and cost. Not only this, but the staff were very efficient, informative, and friendly right from greeting you to getting to work within five minutes of arriving versus visiting a dentist in Canada who has you sit in the waiting room for 20 to 40 minutes before moving you to another room waiting for the dentist for another 15 to 30 minutes before starting the assembly line dental work. Neo Clinic offers you water, tea, or coffee, then within 5 to 10 minutes have you being evaluated, having x-rays taken, mapping out a plan of procedure and then explaining why they are recommending what they are doing and possible alternatives that you and the dentist can discuss.

In terms of the office, it was modern and very clean, and even a large TV on the ceiling you can watch while your procedures are being done. I also felt very safe in the area of Cancun where the office is located, they even have a staff member to help you get the office or pick you up and drop you off if needed at no additional cost.

The treatment I had completed was two root canals, some fillings, and a crown repair that had failed from previous work completed in Canada, to add to this the dentist explained what was going on and let me know that she would be using the best filling materials available to get a great colour match and a long-lasting result and all of this at a cost that is at least 50 to 60% less than what I would get in Canada.

I was so happy with the Dentists and all the other support staff that I asked for six business cards that I will be giving to any of my friends who are in need of some dental work. I have in fact already recommended Neo Clinic to three people since returning from my visit to Neo Clinic in December 2023 and will continue to do so.

First let me say I have a complex case and flew in from the U.S.A to have my procedures done by the NeoDental team. My experience with NeoDental has thus far been extraordinary.
First are two amazing ladies, Vanessa and Alexandra whom NeoDental calls Patient Ambassadors. They bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed to prepare for my surgeries and recovery. In addition to providing transportation to and from my appointments, they provided transportation to buy items I would need to speed my recovery including trips to the pharmacy and personal needs. I was always told if there was any other way they could help it would be their pleasure.

The reason I\'m off my high horse (and my drum throne) is that I\'ve been able to walk away from the sea of confusing pitches from dental facilities I\'ve never heard of in/around my hometown of Ottawa, Canada. When I finally flew away to Cancun, Mexico, it was an act based on testimonials both in writing and in person; and based on my own \'behind the scenes\' research. I feel your anxiety if you\'re travelling a couple of thousand miles from home to visit one Dr Miller Vieira, Neo Dental, Cancun. Could he be as good as they say?
On Instagram I\'m still bombarded daily with pitches from dentists “in or near my hometown who are experts in dental implants”. I don\'t feel good about slagging anybody but I have to say that over 50% of what I read about local dentists/implant specialists was confusing, confused, conflicting and in a few cases untrue. You press a link that purports to lead you to a real world example of those savings in Canadian dollars. I scoured for one, single example of an implant cost and it was a dry hole. The only price tag was with respect to one dental agency that sells consultations at $50 per head. And you can feel it in his hands: a gentle confidence, probably absorbed from his mentors. As a musician I know what that\'s about, crossing oceans to learn how to make what Ry Cooder calls \'the big note” on one\'s instrument.
You\'re wondering about crime perhaps? I\'ve driven into northern Mexico and I\'d feel uncomfortable getting teeth done in Tijuana, over even an hour south, where music took me. But Cancun was quiet as a mouse. Ahem, unlike my hometown, Ottawa. During the entire time I was away (two visits, six months apart, are required by Dr Vieira to allow for healing) there were three deaths by handguns and one stabbing. All three went down in the eminently safe “Byward Market” area, an Ottawa tourist mecca.
Dental standards, from everything I could tell, met or exceeded Canadian hygienic and procedural protocols. In the end, I paid double the cost of what had been estimated for extractions-only in Canada. You heard correctly: for the cost of extractions in Canada, I got them at Neo Dental PLUS a full set of implants in the upper tier/arch and this INCLUDED airfare for me and my wife. I am writing this review to help others who are thinking about getting dental work done by Dr. Miller and his team at YeahSmile/Neo Dental in Cancun. Prior to becoming a patient, I spent hours researching dentists in the US and Mexico to ensure I was making the best and most informed decision on whom to trust with my smile and dental health. I finally decided on Dr. Miller and I’m very happy that I did.

The experience I had last week with Dr. Miller and his team of doctors and staff was exceptional. After 6 days, 3 crowns, 20 porcelain Emax veneers, and a root canal, I left with a smile that I’ve dreamed about for many years. Dr. Miller is more than a dentist, he is an artist. He is detail oriented, meticulous and professional. Unlike most dentist offices in the United States, YeahSmile clinic has an onsite lab where Dr. Miller and his technicians work together designing the veneers and crowns. The clinic is immaculate and modern, the equipment is state of the art, and the entire staff are attentive, kind and professional. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel for every appointment by Miguel (Dental Concierge), and always warmly greeted at the clinic by Sulma and the rest of the staff.

Dr. Miller surrounds himself with other young and talented dentists specializing in specific dental treatments. Dr. Canela performed my root canal. Like Dr. Miller, she was meticulous, takes her job very seriously, and is passionate about what she does. She was extremely thorough and kept me informed of the progress during the procedure. In the days after the procedure I experienced little to no pain or swelling.

Dr. Dana worked directly alongside Dr. Miller in prepping my teeth for veneers, applying the temporary veneers, and cementing the crowns and veneers. She is also skilled, professional, and detail oriented.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with everything and everyone at the YeahSmile clinic. The quality of care and work far exceeded my expectations! Not to mention, if I were to have the same work done in the United States, it would have cost at least $50,000 to $60,000.

Dr Miller Vieira is a first class dental practitioner. He is honest, a good communicator and genuinely cares about his patients. After doing a lot of research I landed on Yeah Smile based on my initial customer experience and the fact Dr Miller gave me options other clinics did not. He was available via zoom to speak to me with any concerns. I had a lot of work done from veneers to several implants/crowns extractions and a full all on five for my top arch. Dr Miller handled all of these procedures with sound expertise. His clinic is immaculate and his medical concierge go the extra mile to make sure you are looked after. Its been a wonderful experience! My mother in law needed an all on 4 procedure, we searched everywhere for the best prices, and we found Dr Miller, who was so kind, and together with his team, he guided us through the whole process. The facilities were amazing! Everything clean, with a fresh aroma and a relaxing atmosphere. The whole staff was extremely patient, they explained everything to my mother in law, with a lot of patience, as she is an elder woman. We highly recommend Neo Dental and Dr Miller.

The survey asked for my opinion THUS FAR. I just want to indicate I HAVE NOT HAD MY TREATMENT AT THIS DENTAL GROUP YET but have decided to do so. The reason I have chosen them are two. 1)Despite being a higher price between the two groups I was considering, these surgeons have outstanding credentials. Since I have a complex case involving total mouth restoration I wanted someone who was excellent in their fields. 2) I asked many, many questions and the patient ambassador here was very patient and explained answers in detail. The main reason I chose them however is one of the actual surgeons had conference calls with me TWICE to address my concerns. I hope I receive another survey after I have the surgeries.
