Dr. Firdevs Uguz Tip, Obstetrics and Gynecology - , Cyprus

 

Specialisation:

Throughout her career, Dr. Firdevs has focused on obstetrics and gynaecology and is now the only female, medically qualified, obstetrician and gynaecologist in North Cyprus.

Dr. Firdevs spent one and a half years working as the primary care physician at Osmaniye State Hospital and a further six months at the Mersin State Hospital in the coronary care unit. These postings were useful to enhance Dr. Firdevs’ broad knowledge of medicine and she is now able to treat women suffering from a wide sphere of problems.

Recently, Dr. Firdevs completed 2 years service at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoglu Devlet Hastanesi, the governmental hospital in Lefkosa, North Cyprus, where she performed hundreds of caesarean sections, gynaecological operations and general care for pregnant women.

Certification:

In addition to her general gynaecological medical training, Dr. Firdevs is officially certified in laparoscopy, ultrasound, hysteroscopy and neonatal CPR.
