Dr. Rosy Peña, arrived in San Jose del Cabo over twenty-five years ago and opened a clinic across the street from the Cathedral and the central plaza. Over the years since she has developed a loyal patient following that appreciates her fine dental work.

She was the first woman being President of the Dental Asociation in Baja Sur and in 1997 won a National Dental award as "Dentist of the Year for Baja California Sur".

Word of her practice spread throughout the local Los Cabos American and Canadian community with many referring to her as having the 'Touch of an Angel.' It was not long before 80% of her patients were coming from the U.S.A. and Canada to see her. Returning home they would tell their friends of her high quality work and the great savings they had by having their dental work done in Los Cabos while on vacation.

She maintains her high standards of professionalism at the clinic by personally interviewing and carefully selecting the best dentists to work at Angel's Touch. Amalgam/Mercury Fillings Removal:
Regardless which tooth or number of surfaces. Price includes tooth color matching resin replacement fillings.

 

Bridges:
If you are calculating the price of a bridge, include the teeth that will be anchoring the bridge as well in your count. The bridge fabrication is included in the cost of the crowns.

 

Cleaning:
Normal teeth Cleaning by a doctor, including up to two x-rays if necessary and consultation.

 

Deep Cleaning:
Deep Cleaning by a doctor including up to two x-rays and consultation.

 

Crowns:
Porcelain over Metal Crowns including x-rays, temporaries, and build-ups if necessary. Fiberglass Posts and Porcelain crowns are available.

 

Consultation:
Dental examination, up to two x-rays and consultation.

 

Dentures:
Acrylic dentures and Resin dentures available.

 

Extractions:
Normal extractions available. Impacted wisdom teeth are extracted by our Board Certified Oral Surgeon.

 

Fillings:
Tooth color matching resin fillings.

 

Implants:
Traditional or One-Day Implants (for laterals only) including temporary and porcelain/metal crown, and x-rays as necessary.

• Traditional and Val Plast or Teflon both w/o metal parts).

 

Periodontal Treatments:
Gum Reduction Treatment, Osseous Treatment and Deep Perio Cleaning.

 

Root canals:
Fiberglass posts for core buildups available.

 

Whitening:
Long lasting Zoom laser process takes about an hour.

X-Rays:

Dr. Alphonso Pena
Board Certified Dental Surgeon - Past President of the Baja Sur Dental Association, Honors graduate from the National University Autonomous of Mexico in Mexico City. His specialties are dental implants and maxillo-facial reconstruction for trauma patients or correction of congenital problems. He practices at hospitals in Baja and in our clinic.

Before, the center line of my 2 front upper teeth was offset to the right by the width of one tooth due to a childhood extraction of my 6th tooth. What has been accomplished in 10 days under the Angels Wings (Angels Touch) has amazed and pleased me beyond belief. Root Canals, Deep Cleaning (Ouch!), and 23 crowns, Bridges were all done with cleanliness & caring to the utmost. Plagued with bad teeth for much of her life, Brenda Patton was ashamed of her smile. She endured the shame for so many years because she simply could not afford the dental work. Then Patton heard about dental vacations to Mexico. Each year, thousands of Americans cross the border to visit dentists in Mexico who will replace crowns, fill cavities, and perform root canals at a fraction of the cost in the United States. For example, according to La Familia Medical Center in Mexico, a porcelain crown costs $180 to $200 compared to $1,000 in the United States. Fillings in Mexico cost $40. In the United States, they cost $120 to $200. The extraction of a wisdom tooth in the United States runs around $400. It costs about half that in Mexico. For those who do not have health insurance, these differences are too great to ignore. So Patton and her family spent a month in Los Barriles and mixed trips to the dentist with family fun in the sun. "This is just really important to me that I have a beautiful smile and that I project out what I have inside," said Patton, of Washington.

After spending some long days in the dentist's chair, Patton received a new smile after six appointments. She received 27 crowns, a root canal, and two bridges for a total of $9,800 -- less than half the price she would have been charged by her dentist in the United States.

As for Patton, she's completely satisfied with her new smile.

"I'm so happy to have beautiful teeth and to have a smile that I can really be proud of," she said.
