韩小迪医生1992年毕业于上海医科大学（现与复旦大学合并）。同年，他来到北京天坛医院神经外科工作，师从赵继忠教授，并参与了北京市多项重大科研项目，也是多部神经外科著作的编者。在北京天坛医院神经外科工作期间，他负责胶质瘤的综合治疗及各种神经外科治疗。他曾在澳大利亚墨尔本阿尔弗雷德医院和美国堪萨斯州威奇托州立大学工作。随后，他在美国罗彻斯特大学医学中心神经外科工作，负责干细胞治疗方面的研究生研究。
韩小迪医生现任北京普华国际医院神经外科中心主任，致力于神经外科疾病干细胞治疗的临床工作和教学研究，其独创的“脊髓重建”手术造福全球数百名患者。他对胶质瘤的外科治疗及术后综合治疗独具匠心，获得国际认可，是国内外胶质瘤干细胞靶向治疗研究的先行者。
