Akaki Tsilosani, MD, PhD, FISHRS the founder and chief surgeon of Tsilosani Hair Transplantation Institute was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1966. After graduation of Tbilisi Physico-Mathematical public school in 1983, he entered Tbilisi State Medical University. After passing residency in the department of General Surgery of Tbilisi 4th Clinical Hospital, he worked as general surgeon in several clinics of different regions of Georgia. Since 1999 he works in Talizi Hair Transplantation Clinic as hair transplant surgeon where he already performed more than 7000 hair transplant sessions. In 2003 he was appointed to the position Director of the clinic. He is author of 32 scientific works and 6 inventions in the field of hair transplantation.

8 years ago I started balding. 8 years of trying to hide baldness using long hair and products like Topic.
10 months ago I decided to put an end to this and do a hair transplant.
It took me 4 months to find the right place and half a year ago I chose to carry out the process through the company My Hair.
For one reason or another, I could not fly to Turkey, and My Hair linked me to Professor A. Tsilosani clinic in Georgia.
I was very impressed with his unique technique to perform a FUE transplant on long hair, thus I will be able to perform a hair transplant in a proven method and yet feel free to maintain my long hair throughout the period.
Alongside Professor A.Tsilosani worked Dr. T.Kertkoevi who accompanied the transplant throughout. I was given VIP treatment, explained to me the whole procedure and all the way I would go, answered all my questions and gave me a feeling that I had come to the right place.
The transplant process was painless, local anesthesia was used, but the injection technique made it feel like a light bite and not a painful injection.
During the removal of the follicles (a total of 2500, 1000 in the front and 1500 in the back) I had a body massage and it was pleasant and fun.
After the transplant, the clinic invited me and my wife for a delicious dinner.
The next day we went back to unloading bandages and first overlapping.
Throughout the trip, Hila and Dor from My Hair accompanied me, were there for any questions, provided us with flight tickets, hotel reservations, clinic shuttle services and brought me lots of information that helped and I did not feel alone.

I learned about the clinic and Dr. Tsilosani from Instagram. The doctor gave consultations in Moscow and I made an appointment. After the examination, the doctor recommended a transplant and I chose a clinic in Tbilisi. the price is much lower than in Moscow clinics and you can spend a vacation in Georgia at the same time. The clinic is very modern, clean and very pleasant to be in. The clinic staff and doctors are beyond praise, very polite and courteous. Dr. Tsilosani inspires confidence from the first minutes with his professionalism and care for patients. In the clinic, everything is done to make the patient feel comfortable. My recommendations, 5 points!

I performed a beard hair transplant operation because my donor area was sparse from several operations performed in turkey and other countries.
I was unhappy with other transplants and searched the web to find a doctor who was able to perform body hair transplants. I saw positive reviews about the doctor Tsilosanii and got in touch with the clinic.
The doctor told me that he could perform a transplant of 1500 beard grafts. He was one of the only doctors who could harvest so many beard grafts from me in one session without needing hair from the classic neck donor area.
I performed the transplant 2 days ago. I arrived in tbilisi the same day and a driver picked me up from the airport and took me to a luxury hotel.
Transfers between the hotel, the airport and the clinic and 2 nights in a hotel were included in the price of the operation.
The operation lasted less than 4 hours. I did not need painkillers or antibiotics.
The doctor has his own technique.
The doctor and his team were very professional and friendly. I paid in euros and the clinic gave me back the difference in the exchange rate (euros/dollars). They are very honest too.
The doctor gave me before I left a protocol to follow with a special shampoo.
After 2 days, there is almost no trace of the surgery. I still have redness. According to the doctor, there will be no visible signs of the surgery after 6 days and I think it will be ok in a few days.
So, this is by far my best transplant experience. I have no complications, the price is competitive and the clinic is very friendly and professional.
The doctor is honest.
I did not think I could perform transplants yet because my traditional donor area was limited and he told me that 1000 grafts were still available.
I will do without hesitation a last transplant in this clinic without hesitation.

Everything is perfect in the clinic, starting from the threshold, where you are greeted “like at home”, delicious food - from a talented chef, a manager who is ready to answer hundreds of the same questions, at any time of the day, and the professionalism and approach of the clinic staff, led by Akaki Tsilosani!
Everything went in one breath, under a relaxing massage and jokes of doctors - we didn’t think that such a seemingly simple procedure would pass so easily!
