Dott. Osman İLHAN - Ematologo
Il Prof. Dr. Osman İLHAN si è laureato presso la Facoltà di Medicina dell'Università di Ankara nel 1978. Dopo aver completato la specializzazione in medicina interna presso la stessa facoltà nel 1982, ha prestato servizio come specializzando presso la Clinica di Ematologia del GATA durante il servizio militare. Dopo aver completato il servizio obbligatorio presso l'Ospedale SSK Ulus, è tornato alla Facoltà di Medicina dell'Università di Ankara per una sottospecializzazione. Nel 1990 è diventato professore associato di ematologia. Ha lavorato a Genova, in Italia, per approfondire le sue conoscenze ed esperienze sulla leucemia. Ha fatto parte dell'équipe che ha eseguito il primo trapianto di cellule staminali del midollo osseo in Turchia. Nel 1996 si è recato presso l'MD Anderson Cancer Center negli Stati Uniti per lavorare su "Mobilizzazione, crioconservazione e trapianto di cellule staminali". Nel 1996 è diventato professore di ematologia. Nel 1999 è stato eletto presidente regionale dell'ESFH (Società Europea per l'Emaferesi). Il Dott. İlhan, fondatore e presidente della Società di Emaferesi nel 2000, è entrato a far parte della World Apheresis Association (WAA) nel 2001. È diventato Presidente dell'Associazione Turca di Ematologia nell'ottobre 2001. Il Dott. İlhan, membro attivo dell'Associazione Europea di Ematologia (EHA), è stato membro del comitato di accreditamento (ECAH) per la formazione. Ha contribuito all'accreditamento degli ematologi turchi in crediti ECM partecipando all'accreditamento di congressi e corsi tenuti in Turchia in qualità di Provider. È stato presidente fondatore della Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association, fondata nel 2008. È diventato presidente fondatore della Geriatric Hematology Association nel 2011. È presidente onorario del World Apheresis Congress (WAA) tenutosi nel 2012. Il Dott. İlhan, che in precedenza ha fatto parte dei comitati per le licenze farmaceutiche e l'etica del Ministero della Salute, è stato anche presidente della Commissione Fotoferesi-Aferesi e del Comitato Scientifico per il Trapianto di Midollo Osseo, nonché presidente del National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Board, del Comitato Scientifico del Cord Blood e del Consiglio per la Ricerca sulle Cellule Staminali. Attualmente è Presidente dell'Associazione Medica di Ankara. Istruzione
He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. After earning his specialization in internal diseases at the same Faculty in 1982, he did his military service as a chief assistant at GATA Hematology Clinic. After his compulsory service duty was given at SSK Ulus Hospital, he returned to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for minor specialization.
He became associate professor of hematology in 1990. He worked in Genoa, Italy to increase his knowledge and experience on leukemia. He took part in the first blood stem cell transplant team in Turkey.
He went to the USA in 1996 and got M.D. At the Anderson Cancer Center, Prof. Dr. Martin Korbling and Prof.
He became a professor of hematology in 1996.
In 1999, he was elected regional president of the ESFH (European Society for Hemapheresis).
Hemapheresis Association Founding President in 2000, Dr. İlhan entered the management of the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. Again in October 2001, he became the President of the Turkish Hematology Association. Active in the European Union of Hematology (EHA), Dr. İlhan made a board of education within the body of ECAH (European Hematology Accreditation Committee). As Provider Status, he took part in the accreditation of the congress and course held in Turkey and paved the way for Turkish hematologists in CME credits.
He served as the founding president of the Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association, which was founded in 2008.
In 2011, he became the founding president of the Geriatric Hematology Society.
He is the 'Honorary President' of the World Apheresis Congress (WAA) held in 2012. Having previously served on drug licensing and ethics committees at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ilhan; He served as the Chairman of the Photopheresis-Apheresis Commission and the Chairman of the Bone Marrow Transplant Scientific Committee, as well as the Chairman of the National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Committee, the Cord Blood Scientific Committee and the Stem Cell Research Committee.
He is the founding chairman of the KÖK CELL FOUNDATION.
He played an important role in the establishment of TURKOK (Turkish Stem Cell Donor Bank). With more than 300 publications in Pub-Med registered journals, Dr. Ilhan's; It has over 5000 citations and a H Factor of 34, 1050 EHA-CME credits. It has the Platinum CME certificate of the European Hematology Association.
