Waste of time, money and a summer!

2 females from the UK that won’t be silenced despite a legal threat!

We did FOUR egg collections with this hospital. We trusted them with our bodies, our fertility, our money.

Things started well, we really liked our Co-ordinator, the communication was excellent. The vibe was good.
First round, wife did OK and got 3 PGT embryos (all of which later failed at transfer so I would question the quality and PGT reliability. My own round was a disaster! I had over 10 follicles growing nicely, but the clinic always make sure they under measure. They disregard a lot of follicles, they try to prepare you for poor numbers. On the scans it’s painful to watch them ignore follicles and only measure the top few each side.
I got just 3 eggs. Non of which made it to a PGT embryo. I was shocked and devastated especially as both of my UK rounds yielded 8 and 9 eggs. It made no sense to me. They claimed I had ‘empty follicles’ which I refuse to believe.

Empty follicles is often a clinical issue, or bad management. Ie - insufficient trigger (they had us on 1 trigger jab only when our next clinic had us us THREE) meaning eggs were probably still attached to the follicle, or they took us in for the operation too early. They took me in almost 2 hours earlier than the recommended 36 exact hours after trigger. I firmly believe my eggs were there, but stuck. They didn’t bother saving the round like other clinics would. Lazy.

They then took hours to tell me my egg results, strange as my wife was told within 5 minutes. There was a lot of silence and avoiding us after my collection. It felt sketchy, like they had to have an internal meeting to plan what they’re saying to us.

The doctor who did the operation didn’t bother to come and see us for a de-brief. Especially after such a poor result, we wanted answers and didn’t get them. They expect all communication to be through the Co-ordinations, even bad news and I think this is unacceptable. A doctor performing a procedure should come and see you afterward! Basic care.

We then stupidly decided to give the clinic another chance as my wife desperately wanted a viable embryo or two. We tried to put the poor collection down to an ‘unlucky round’ as they said.

However, another rubbish round. I got just 3 mature eggs once again. My wife has an even worse round too, just 3 embryos and we didn’t bother testing them. Other than 2 ‘good quality’ embryos, the rest of the embryos were poor grades.

We did two transfers with the clinic, one with me and one with my wife of 3 embryos each and they failed. It’s no suprise they failed due to the ridiculously short FET protocol. Neither of us felt ready. They tested our progesterone AFTER transfers and my wife’s progesterone was 10, most clinics won’t transfer an embryo under 20 progesterone never mind 10! Of course it failed.

I truly think the worst clinic in the world would have got one of us pregnant with 3 embryos each time! The chances of a pregnancy were so high. My wife got pregnant with our son first time too so we know she doesn’t have any issues.

There are so many other red flags, some mentioned on previous reviews from others but I agree with them all. The facility is attached to another hospital, when blood tests are done you’re in an open room with people walking in and out and an audience, no privacy. Our friends who came to this clinic were made to share a room with someone else as they were that busy.

No-one we are speaking to after using this clinic is pregnant after numerous transfers with this clinic and I honestly will be left wondering what on earth are they actually doing. Are they getting more eggs and telling us less? Why are the embryo grades so poor for everyone we speak to!? They mentioned a concern about lab temperatures to our friends that had terrible embryo results but then later retracted it and also threatened legals with them.

To end our personal story, we moved to British IVF hospital and they got me 22 eggs! Yes, you read that right. TWENTY TWO! And of course we got pregnant first time with this amazing clinic..

We have been speaking to the clinic since January 2023 and completed a frozen embryo transfer in june. Aman our coordinator was excellent in maintaining communication and guiding us throughout the process. We flew our frozen embryos from the UK and completed genetic testing to transfer the best quality embryo. The clinic is clean the staff are brilliant, kind and caring. They are very open and honest throughout. Dr Serap informs you of all your options very openly and you make the final decision. They are professional and ethical. We recently had the privilege to use Cyprus IVF hospital for our IVF treatment. Coming from New Zealand, our communications and medication protocols were smooth. All our concerns were dealt with professionally. Once we were there our travel to and from the hospital and airport were seamless and Stress-free. We decided to do our eggdonation program on Cyprus IVF Hospital as the prices were better than other clinics.
From day one, the contact alone, via WhatsApp and email was very promising. They were informative and easy to get hold of.
Once we had decided they were very helpful with transports to and from the airport, regardless where on Cyprus you landed.
They had several hotels they recommended and worked with, even though we had our Airbnb we thought this was nice.
We changed the dates a few times and they made new plans wihtout any arguments.

Well there we thought the hospital was very nice, clean and fresh. The doctors, nurses and coordinator are very very kind
and helpful. Everything was quickly done and on time. There were little to none waiting and all was carried out on the said times.

They quickly found an eggdonor and we got plenty of eggs (19) of which all were fertilized and 15 went on to be good quality blastocysts.
They transferred 2 blastocysts and all went fine and we\'re pregnant at an early stage. With 13 still remaining freezed.

One of the best things with Cyprus IVF Hospital is that you can reach them 24/7 should you have any questions and/or concerns.

We would highly recommend Cyprus IVF Hospital for those looking for help with infertility.

We travelled to North Cyprus twice- first for embryo creation and second for IVF transfer. The clinic has shown us throughout a very high level of professionalism. We recently had IVF Treatment at Cyprus IVF Hospital and the experience with the whole team from this hospital (the doctors who took care about us, the embryologist, the nurses, the drivers, and last but not the least, our coordinator, lady Aman Onbasi) was outstanding, they have showed to us professionalism since we step inside, very well organized (meaning our treatment, medical check ups but also our staying there, and the travel from airport to hospital and back), also a very good communication of the medication protocols, and medical advice, and one more thing very important to me and my husband, the smile from their faces, and their hearts (a fact that I am not used with it in my country, even in a private hospital). I have contacted few clinics back in Dec 2022, from Cyprus and other countries for IVF Treatment and then I have stopped for a few months from personal family reasons, then I have got back in contact just with this clinic in August 2023. Our coordinator Aman Onbasi gave the whole support (including with medical analyses and other documents) on emails and on WhatsApp communication since Aug until Nov. 2023 when we came back home. So, I highly recommend this clinic, very safe, clean, and the team very professional! Wir flogen im November nach Famagusta und auch für uns war der Aufenthalt wie ein entspannter Urlaub!!! Wir waren im besten Hotel vor Ort, wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt und auch immer zur Klinik gefahren und zurückgebracht. Alles war absolut pünktlich und zuverlässig. Die Klinik ist penibel sauber, modern, es sind alle Fachdisziplinen in dem Krankenhaus auf den anderen Etagen zu finden. Da können sich einige deutsche Krankenhäuser etwas abgucken. Wir waren insg. 10 Tage dort (es wäre auch kürzer möglich gewesen) und waren in dieser Zeit nur 3x in der Klinik. Ich habe die Medikamente gut vertragen und es kam am Ende auch zu einem Transfer via IVF/ICSI. Nach unserem Vorerfahrungen war uns die Untersuchung auf gesunde Embryos sehr wichtig und das gab uns ein gutes Gefühl. Wir hoffen jetzt, dass es positiv für uns weitergeht. Ein großes DANKESCHÖN an die Ärztin Dr. Serap , die sehr erfahren ist und auch das ganze liebe Team an Krankenschwestern und MFAs vor Ort. Wir sind euch wirklich enorm dankbar für alles! Ich kann diesen Weg - auch wenn er ungewöhnlich ist - nur jedem empfehlen, der sichergehen möchte, dass der Embryo, der sich einnistet, gesund ist!

I had treatment at cyprus ivf hospital and from start to finish the team have been absolutely amazing! I was nervous to try ivf in another country but Atieh has made me feel bery comfortable. I constantly ask her questions over watsapp and she always answers me even when shes not working. The team have really welcomed me and my husband and i couldn’t be happier with the service i got. Hospital room was very clean and nice.

Like many, we have gone through some tough times here in the UK, so I started this journey with little confidence, however, Aman and the team have helped us change this mindset.

As an LGBTQ+ couple living in the UK our options for having a child were limited at best, and we couldn\'t afford to go private in this country. The team is incredible, and make you feel special. From the very first moment when we walked in, we met the team and discussed our situation. Fast forward to this day when we’ve done the HCG test to find out that it had worked out from the first attempt and we are finally experiencing a baby.
