Dr. Dt. Büşra Kaya Yiğit, born in 1993 in Ankara, completed her dental education at at Hacettepe University of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2017. In 2018, she began her PhD in Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics at Gazi University. In 2024, she earned the title of Orthodontist after presenting her doctoral thesis entitled Three-Dimensional Comparison of Planned and Achieved Maxillary Incisor Movements with Clear Aligners.” She provided a scientific contribution to the field of digital orthodontics by analyzing the three-dimensional differences between planned and clinical achieved tooth movements in clear aligners treatments. Her clinical approach is based on accurate diagnosis, digital analysis, and predictable treatment planning.

Her main professional interests include clear aligner therapy, functional orthopedic approaches, aesthetic orthodontic applications, and adult orthodontics. In her clinical practice, she actively utilizes intraoral scanning and digital treatment planning systems to ensure precise and individualized treatment processes. She maintains her professional development through continuous education and scientific activities. In 2022, she delivered an oral presentation at the 18th International Turkish Orthodontic Association Congress organized by the Turkish Orthodontic Association, of which she is an active member.

Outside of her professional career, she has a keen interest in gastronomy and artificial intelligence, and she closely follows advancements in digital technologies in healthcare.
