CABG is open-heart surgery that restores blood flow when major coronary arteries are blocked. Healthy blood vessels from the chest, arm, or leg are used to bypass the blockages, helping improve heart function and reduce symptoms.

Length of Stay: 6–9 days, including ICU approximately 1–3 days.

  • Multidisciplinary Heart Center discussion

  • Standard isolated CABG surgery
  • Cardiac anesthesia
  • ICU stay, typically 1–3 days
  • Standard medications during admission
