I had a 'mommy makeover' with Dr. Cartagena in Jan, 2026... I had consultations with several other doctors, Dr. Cartagena was by far, the most informative, reassuring, and knowledgeable. He explained the entire procedure in extensive details. Once I had my appointment confirmed, he was a text or phone call away ANY time that I needed him. Now that I'm at 3.5 weeks post op... he remains a phone call or text away.. he has calmed me countless times, whether it was pre-op, or post op,(due to my personal anxiety) with his calm, and confident demeanor. From the start, he was super responsive, spoke perfect English, and kept in touch through email and WhatsApp, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I had a lipoma removed, and honestly, it couldn’t have been easier. Dr. José made me feel completely at ease—the procedure was quick, painless, and done right in the office within an hour. Two weeks later, I came back to get the stitches out, and that was a breeze too! He’s not only skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly.
