Dear Dr. Rodriguez,
I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you and your wonderful staff and all you have done for me these past three weeks. Although, it has been difficult being away from my family for so long, your staff became my family with constant care for me and my cousin during our stay. The hospital doesn’t have all of the modern facilities and equipment of most hospitals in the United States, but in 3 weeks time , you were able to do more for my lymphoma than my cancer hospital in Ohio has done in years. I feel alert, energized and so much more full of life than when I first came. And as we got to know most of the staff here, we felt a comfort level that eased our fears and frustrations. You all know just what my body needed and gave it to me. It is now up to me to continue and fight and change my like. The Lord brought me here for a reason and He will help me bring about those changes. I have so many compliments for all of your staff.
I do not know where to start. I wish I could take them home so my family can meet them and thank them. Please extend my great appreciation to them for all they have dome for me. And if and when I return, I will be happy to be placed in their care again. A special thank you to Dr. Pedro Servin, who rarely left my side when he was on call and whenever I needed him. I would be proud to call him my son. I have worked with many entrepreneurs and business owners who broke out on their own, but you had the courage to go against traditional medical care, and show them there is better way. You are truly a pioneer. I will call to arrange a conference with your staff in my community so they can come and tell our people the wonderful work you do.
For my cousin Tom and myself, I thank you and your staff from the bottom of my heart and May God Bless you as you continue this incredible work.
