The Sperm Donation Program at Sakallı IVF is designed for couples or individuals where the male partner is unable to produce viable sperm, or in cases of severe male infertility.
Through this program, patients can achieve pregnancy using high-quality donor sperm sourced from internationally accredited sperm banks in Denmark.

About the Donors

All sperm donors are carefully selected and medically approved through our trusted partner sperm banks in Denmark. Each donor undergoes:

• Extensive medical and genetic screening

• Infectious disease testing (HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis, etc.)

• Detailed family and health history evaluation

• Psychological assessment

Only donors who meet the highest health and genetic standards are accepted into the program, ensuring both safety and confidentiality.

Treatment Process

1. Consultation & Evaluation:
   The patient’s medical background and test results are reviewed by our fertility specialists to create a personalized treatment plan.

2. Donor Selection:
   Based on the patient’s physical characteristics and preferences, a suitable sperm donor is chosen from our Danish partner sperm banks.

3. Fertilization & Embryo Development:
   The donor sperm is used to fertilize the eggs (either from the patient or from an egg donor, depending on the case).
   The embryos are then carefully monitored in our advanced embryology laboratory.

4. Embryo Transfer:
   The best-quality embryo(s) are selected and transferred into the uterus under ultrasound guidance.

5. Pregnancy Testing & Follow-Up:
   Approximately 12–14 days after the embryo transfer, a blood test (β-hCG) is performed to confirm pregnancy.

Genetic Testing Options (Optional Add-On)

For patients who wish to perform genetic screening before embryo transfer, the following options are available:

• PGD (FISH Method) – €6,900
  This method analyzes 5 chromosomes: 13, 18, 21, X, and Y, identifying abnormalities related to Down’s Syndrome, Edwards’ Syndrome, and Patau’s Syndrome, as well as determining the embryo’s sex.

• Standard Sperm Donation Program (without PGD) – €4,900

For a more comprehensive analysis, patients may also choose PGT-A (NGS) testing, which screens all 23 pairs of chromosomes to ensure genetic normality and the highest possible implantation success rates.
