About Dentram Dental Clinics

Dentram Dental Clinics was originally established in 1994 on Bagdat Avenue by Orthodontist Dr. Aylin Sezen Yalcin and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist Prof. Dr. Serhat Yalcin.

Dentram relocated in 2001 to its current headquarters on Bagdat Avenue - Caddebostan. The Clinic's Beykoz - Acarkent branch commenced operations in 2008 and its Levent branch became operational in 2012.

In the years that have passed since its establishment, Dentram has become a large family, with the number of examination units in our clinics having also grown to a total of 12 units.

Prof. Dr. Serhat Yalcin

Prof. Dr. Serhat Yalcin is a member of the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

• Graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1984
• Commenced his surgical education in the same year as an assistant in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of the same university
• 1989-1990 he worked in Queen Mary’s University Hospital, Maksillofacial Surgery Department, London
• He was awarded the title of associate professor in 1993
• Became a professor in 1999
• More than 100 medical articles published
• He has given countless lectures and taught courses both nationally and internationally
• Author of the book titled "Temporomandibular Joint Disorder TMD"
• Written chapters for the book titled "Dentistry Approach to Oncology Patients"
• Currently works as a Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist at Dental Treatment Istanbul Clinics
• Editor of scientific domestic and international dental journals
• Founded Dentram Dental Treatment Istanbul Dental Clinic in early 2001 with his wife Dr. Aylin Yalcin DDS Ph.D, Ortodontist.

Dr. Aylin Sezen YALÇIN

• Graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1993
• Commenced her Orthodontics education as an assistant in the Department of Orthodontics at the Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in the same year
• In 1999, she completed her doctorate thesis titled "In-vitro Analysis of the Changes in the Enamel Tissue Surrounding Braces that Occur as a Result of the Fluoride Released from Orthodontic Adhesives"
• Earned the right to be awarded with the title of Orthodontist
• Rendering her services as an Orthodontist in her own clinics since 1999.

Med. Dent. Arif Tuncay KALELIOGLU

• Born in Malatya, Turkey in 1980
• Qualified at Ege University, Faculty of Dentistry in ?zmir
• Since 2011 Med. Dent. Kalelio?lu make his practise in Dental Treatment Istanbul Dental Clinic
• Special interest - Cosmetic Dentistry.

Med. Dent. Züleyha ÖZDURU

• Was born in 1972, Mu?
• Qualified as a general dentist in ?stanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1998
• Worked in several hospitals and clinics and improved her skills
• Attended lots of course programmes about dentistry, and certified in several issues
• Working in Dental Treatment Istanbul Dental Clinic since 2010
• Interested in implant supported prosthetic treatments, removable and fixed prosthetic treatments.

Dr. Behiye DABAKOGLU

• Born in Mardin at 1981
• Qualified in the University of Marmara, Faculty of Dentistry
• Qualified in Prosthodontic Dentistry in 2009 at University of Yeditepe
• Joined our dental team in 2012
• Attends seminars and courses worldwide, continuously developing her knowledge and skills
• Special interest is Cosmetic Dentistry, Porcelain Laminates and Allceramic systems.

Med. Dent. Ece AKGÜN

• Was born in Mersin, Turkey
• Qualified at Near East University, Faculty of Dentistry in Cyprus
• Since 2012 Med. Dent. Akgün makes her practise in Dental Treatment Istanbul Dental Clinic
• Her special interest is periodontal and conservative dental treatments
• Attends seminars and workshops about dentistry
• Member of EDAD (Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry).
