He graduated from the Mexico City Cancerology National Institute, where he specialized in Gynecological Oncology. He studied General Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and got his specialty in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the O’Hara Hospital in Merida, Yucatan.
