Having spent time in Panama previously—and knowing its reputation for excellent healthcare—I was aware that Panama City offered sophisticated medical services. But I had no idea the same level of integrity, expertise, and personalized care existed in the world of plastic surgery… until met Dr. Luis Picard Ami.
From the moment I met him, I was struck by his honesty, empathy, and calm confidence. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear—he told me what I needed to hear. That gave me instant trust in him and in the process. By the end of our first meeting on a Monday afternoon, I knew I had found the right surgeon. I had also consulted with another highly regarded surgeon in Panama City. But after meeting Dr. Picard Ami, I felt such a profound sense of trust, clarity, and alignment that I scheduled surgery for two days later. That’s how sure I was.
Dr. Picard Ami has that rare combination of world-class surgical skill and genuine, human-centered care. If you’re coming from abroad, it’s all incredibly easy: Panama City is modern and safe, the airport is nearby, and you can stay at the Marriott next to the clinic (they offer special pricing for patients and even wellness support if you’re traveling solo like I did).
The results I have experienced are far beyond what I hoped for—and I genuinely feel like a new person who has reconnected with the woman I was before menopause.
