Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) is the latest hair transplantation technique for those suffering from hair loss and wish to undergo a transplant.

In this process, the hair follicles are removed from the donor area one after one using a very fine extractor, with a very fine diameter of 1mm or even less. The procedure involves extracting hair follicles from the donor area with a micro motor and later transplanting the same hair follicles into the receipt with a pen-like device that contains a hollow needle, called the Choi Implanter Pen. DHI procedure is performed by certified surgeons who provide accurate and effective transplants.

Hair follicles are immediately transplanted within about 1-2 minutes after the extraction process so that the follicles do not remain outside the body for a longer time period. Stages of DHI

Stage I - Collection: In this stage, hairs with a width of less than 1 diameter is removed from the scalp with a specific tool called “micromotor”, and collected. No scars or cuts are experienced.

Stage II - Arrangement: The hairs collected in the first stage are carefully put in the pen with suitable canals for the height of the hair strand.

Stage III - Plantation: The hairs inside the pens are directly implanted in the hairless area. Canals are opened and hairs are planted at a specific angle and the depth in the recipient area at the same time. The transplanted hair will stay forever and never be lost post-transplantation procedure.
