Great customer service.
Excellent work. I had a complete removal of all crowns and root canals. The work was done in a week a d results beautiful.
My husband has has two sets of dentures made over the years. They never even needed adjustments.
All teeth were crowned and straightened.
I have been a patient for several years.
I am going to go back next week.

My parents and I traveled from La Grange, Texas to Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas for an appointment at Dental Artistry yesterday. I have to be honest, The staff treated us really good. The Staff is Very Professional, Courteous and Friendly. They even offered to meet us at the border to personally take us to their office. Prices are not bad compared to the quality of work that they do. I would totally recommend this Dental office to everyone. They are also open every day of the week so it makes it very convenient for us that have a Crazy work schedule.

That throbbing tooth on a Saturday. First trip to a dentist in Mexico so i was as nervous as you probably are reading these reviews. My experience was great! I had already been to Nuevo Progresso so the town was never in question, very clean and alot of fun with lots of shopping, alcohol, and food.
I also looked at reviews and called them up at 1pm and after a 2 hour drive from our RV park Juan Ricardo met us on the Mexico side of bridge and walked us to the office that was only a block away. Juan Ricardo served as the interpreter between the dentist and I and within 15 minutes from bridge I was getting tooth pulled. After novocaine shots he went to tugging. It ended up in had to have tooth cut in half due to my extra long roots. After 30 minutes of tugging and pulling we were done. Let me note I felt zero pain or discomfort and I am a wuss when it comes to dentists. The entire time he would ask if I felt any pain to ensure the novocaine was doing its job. After the x-ray to ensure everything was removed I paid my 35 for extraction and 10 for x-ray and my girlfriend paid her 25 to have hers cleaned. Girlfriend was very impressed also.
He will then write you a script for antibiotics and over the counter pain meds, he walks you next door to the pharmacy and I paid 15 bucks. You can take the pills back across as long as they are not narcotics.
We will be going back in 3 weeks to measure for my bridge and have a tooth of hers pulled and measure for braces. I hope this helps anyone wondering. Juan Ricardo makes the process that much easier.
Enjoy the town first then head into his office is my recommendation.

I needed a dentist as my gum was swollen and was afraid it was infected. I Googled dentist in Progreso and got many places but one that caught my eye was Dr Rene Rosas Bassanetti office as I based that on the many positive reviews.
I called the number provided, which to my surprise was a number from the United States. I talked to Rick he was very nice and attentive and he even offered to pick me up at the international bridge to make sure I was safe getting to his office.
At arrival to the office I was greeted by Dr. Yassen Hernandez who immediately provided services and explain to me the whole procedure to be done. I can honestly say that I hate going to the dentist as I have sensitive teeth but Dr. Hernandez was just amazing and this is the first time I have a very pleasant and painless visit to the dentist!!
Overall the staff was very friendly and the price was even better!! I have never been to any dentist in Mexico but I decided to give it try and I strongly reccomend their services.
Rick thank you so much for providing an amazing service and Dr. Hernandez...I have no words to thank you for the outstanding dental work you did on me!!
I would absolutely go back to you guys from now on.

I came here for a second opinion and was very impressed with the dentists detailed exam and careful explanation of my dental problems, both serious ones with decay below the gum line and others not so severe. The dentist is very honest at Dental Artistry. I am sorry I cannot remember her name. I have no reservations about coming back again.

I went for a root canal and crown. I do have dental insurance but it seemed like the dentists on the American side were not eager to help me. They wanted an appointment a month in advance just to take a look. I wanted dentists who are ready and eager to help.
So I went to Progreso, walked around, and got 4 exams and estimates in the space of 3 hours without any appointment. 3 exams were free, one charged me $20. Xrays are $10.
Dental Artistry Center made a root canal appointment for me in one day.
As far as I call tell, they did a good job and they seemed quite skilled. 3 different dentists worked on me. The pain was mild...not too bad at all. A root canal was done, a post, and a zirconium crown. All of this cost $650. About the same as on the American side with insurance...but as I said, I went for the service instead of the cost.
The crown was made and ready in one day.
I give 4 stars instead of 5 because their appointment system seems a bit disorganized...but they probably have lots of noshows...and they do accept walk-ins.
You dont get your own exam room its more like a hallway with several dental chairs in a row...Lots of people walking behind my head as I get my tooth drilled. Most Americans are not used to that. Forget about privacy.
Overall a very good experience...of course I dont know yet how long this crown will last, but as of right now, its seems quite strong. I would definitely go back.
Edit I changed my mind. 4.5 stars...which gets rounded up to 5.

My experience at Dental Artistry was the best experience at any dentist I have been to. I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I did research for about a year on where to go for some major dental work. Keep in mind I do have insurance in the states. I already knew what I needed done, after a quick examination the Dr. told me the same thing. They have the best equipment and the nicest staff. They had better equipment than my dentist in WI. I had 3 root canals, 3 crowns, 3 unit bridge crown done in 2 days. When I returned for the permanent crowns I decided I wanted to do veneers and redo my smile. Attention to detail is a understatement they are very meticulous with their work. I could not of picked a better dentist to do it. My smile looks amazing, the work performed on the crowns and veneers were above satisfactory. They really take the time and effort to make sure you’re comfortable and have a painless experience. The work that I did there would of costed over 25k in the states. I paid 5k and I do not regret any of it. For people that are weary when I came back I went to the dentist here and told me they did an amazing job. I would definitely return in the future and I would refer anyone next to me. Thanks once again for making my experience the best.

I have five years experience with this dentistry practice in El Progresso Zirconium crowns, root canals, fillings the whole gamut. I have always found this dentistry practice experienced and professional. Mexico has a long established dental education program, requiring five years of study and a year of residency. In Dr. Rene practice, there is an atmosphere of collaboration that feels like a teaching hospital. The specialists that come in for highest level work are the most experienced. My neighbors in the Rio Grande Valley recommended this practice and many of those neighbors have been getting their dental work there for a decade or more. The cost of dental services at this clinic is far less than comparative services in the US.
