The nutritionist Dr Ziad, driver Waleed, nurses, and ward doctors were all lovely and made sure I knew where I could follow up with them if there were any issues (there were not).
The hospital itself was clean and quiet and the gastric sleeve procedure has so far (two weeks in) not had any negative side-effects.
Dr Islam and his team made this a very easy and worthwhile experience! -

I got sleeved on 24th February, 2024 and it's been good so far. From Waleed, who patiently waited for my companion and I, to the hospital staff. We had a lot of care from Day one till the day I left Alexandria. The Surgery process was also smooth as I was relaxed and made to feel comfortable. Still in the healing process as at today(23days post op), but it's all coming together nicely. And Dr Islam is always ready to answer my questions and checks in from time to time even now I am back home in Nigeria. Can wait to share my progress report

I always consider it a blessing finding Dr. Islam on whatclinic. From the very day I put an inquiry till the actual day of my surgery, I have nothing but good words for him & his team. I got sleeved on the 4th of March 2024. I have never been hospitalized all my life & the experience I’ve had with him, his team of doctors, nurses, patient co-ordinator, driver… were beyond exceptional. I was indeed taken good care of. He is very responsive & makes sure you are well-attended

In the beginning, I was afraid of pain post-operation but right away Dr Islam was assuring me that would be definitely under control. Furthermore, I was very much impressed by the professionalism of the entire team from the anaesthetist, to the nurses and of course to the know-how of Dr Islam. The way he explained all the entire procedure make a big difference! Bravo keep the good work definitely the right surgeon to choose for your surgery.
