Dr. Chiara Maria Grana works in the fields of:

  • Radiometabolic therapy in thyroid diseases

  • Radioimmunotherapy with Beta emitters in brain tumors and non-Hodgkin lymphomas 

  • Radionuclide receptor theapy

  • Diagnosis with radiopeptides labelled Beta transmitters in endocrine malignancies

  • Traditional nuclear medicine techniques

  • Brain and Haematological Malignancies: Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma with Zevalin, by coordinating radioimmunotherapy protocol
  • Clinical investigator in different radioimmunotherapy protocol
  • Collaboration in the field of radio-labelled peptides in endocrine malignancies
  • Active contribution to the development of different aplications of lymphoscintigraphy and of antibodies with the avidin-biotin system in patients with solid tumors (ovarian, glioma, breast, colon and melanoma)

  • Radioimmunotherapy with beta-emitters by means of avidin-biotin system; loco-regional and systemic administration in brain tumors and ovarian carcinoma;
  • Radioimmunotherapy with antibodies radiolabelled with beta-emitters in NHL and ovarian carcinoma;
  • Internal dosimetry in radionuclide diagnosis and therapy;
  • Radionuclide therapy of differentiated thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism with 131I;
  • Radionuclide therapy in bone metastases.

  • Receptor scintigraphy with radiolabelled peptides;
  • Radioimmunoscintigraphy with avidin-biotin system;
